Ontario comes back from a 13 point deficit in the 2nd half. For the most part due to a 21-6 3rd quarter. After hitting a 3-pointer to start the 2nd half, Shelby was held to 3 points the rest of the period.
Ontario only made around 50% of their foul shots and just 2 shots further than 5 feet from the basket. Still only playing with energy in the 2nd Half of games.

Does everyone in the conference already have two league losses except for Sandusky? Is this a run away for Sandusky to win this year?

For Bellevue the 6'5 Freshmens name is Cameron Marshall. The starting lineup coming back for Bellevue are 5'10 Jr g, Jake Waskielis, 5'10 soph g Trey Ruhlman, 6'3 Jr G/F Dakota McPeak, 6'1 Sr G Drew Buchanan and 6'8 Sr C Owen Hartley. Coming off the bench are reserves Marshall along with 6'0 Sr G Ben Smith, 6'4 Jr F/C Jacob Tiell, 6'1 Jr G Kayden Vogel, 6'1 Jr G Jimmy Davis, 6'3 Sr G/F Cody Snyder, 6'4 Jr F/C Caleb Cornwell, 6'3 Sr C Nolan Meyer, and 6'1 Soph G Garrett Vickery. Vickery, Cornwell, and Tiell are also on JV. For the JV's the rest of the roster is 6'1 Jr G Christian Booze, 6'6 Jr F Nevin Wright, 5'10 Jr G Chase Eisenhauer, 6'3 Jr G/F Deon Phillips, 6'5 F Gavin Sparling, 6'1 Soph F Kortland Andrews, and 6'1 C Richard Stombaugh. Not sure where your getting your information but Buchanan has never started a game. Ben Smith starts and the two guys mainly off the bench are Vogel and Marshall when the Ruhlman kid starts. The Vogel boy has been starting sense Ruhlman has been injured. Ruhlman came in the game tonight and left after a few minutes with the same issue he has been having all year. A back issue!!!!

Good test for the Redmen tomorrow night as 8-0 Upper Sandusky comes to town. When the dust settles in the NOL Bellevue is no better than 4th in this league and could be lower let's not get carried away. Upper wins by double digits IMO...

We will see where Bellevue ends up. I'm not sure what your basing your opinion on but I would have to disagree. If they ever get the hole team healthy they will be at least two or three! There starting point guard has not played all year do to a back issue. That being said they aren't doing to bad. IMO

It would be accurate to say that Bellevue at 3-0 has played the bottom 3 teams in the NOL.

That's not true we haven't played Tiffin yet I don't believe! I seen Norwalk had three kids not dressed do to injuries or I believe they would be a lot better so a lot can change depending on when your team is healthy! I've said this before a .500 season would be a good year for such a young team in Bellevue. I'm guessing by the mid to end of the season we will be starting 1 fresh., 1 soph., two juniors and 1 senior. Hoping for a OK season.

Didn't realize Tiffin 4-2. Good for them off to a good start. Who has Upper played besides Shelby that is a good bball team? Not sure of Uppers schedule but 8-0 is a great start to a season!

Upper's best player, a 6-3 Senior guard, starter since he was a Freshman, averaged 21.5per last year. Was not eligible for Upper's first 6 games. Thus, Upper hasn't played their best ball yet.

Upper 74-30 over Redmen. Was hoping for a better game than that. Jv. did beat Upper's though. 18-4 second quarter is hard to come back from.

Upper is a very nice team and well coached. Used 10 players in his rotation. I've never seen so many substitutions. Of coarse when you have a team that only has two deep coming off the bench I guess your not use to seeing that. LOL Bellevue played there worse game all year but Upper was to much for them. 1st quarter was Upper 13 to 11 then Upper must of shot 75 percent the 2nd quarter and played lights out the 2nd half. Hats off to them and good luck the rest of the season.

Did anyone go to that tournament in Sandusky tonight ? I saw Vermilion play Amherst at a tourney in Wellington- they were up by almost 30 in the 4th - even with their 2nd leading scorer not playing ( flu bug or something like that). Amherst hasn't been very good for quite awhile so it wasn't a good test.

61-58 Lorain over Elyria 67-64 Oberlin over Sandusky, Sandusky had a 10 point lead with 2 minutes left and fell apart. Little coaching adjustments against pressure defense. I believe they had timeouts left. Oberlin scored 17 points in 2 minutes of basketball. Terrible free throw shooting didn't help for the streaks. This was one of the worst losses I have seen at Sandusky in a long time.

Portwalk probably correct with placing Bellevue 4th. Bellevue didn't have a good game because they played a well-coached team. They do have some talent but didn't utilize it at all. Didn't see number 1 (I think?) take a shot the entire game after starting. #3 couldn't get a decent shot off after he drained two open looks for three. No plays to help the kids out. Bellevue also had a kid at least half a foot taller than anything Upper sent out there but only was involved in one play that I recall to use his height and score. Shouldn't be any problem for Sandusky to handle. From what I've seen and heard NOL fans should have a clear schedule in March. Hats off to Upper who has a well-balanced, well-coached team.

Is Ruhlman playing for Bellevue yet? I know he's been injured but haven't seen his name in the box scores at all lately.

No he is still out and the big guy that bsports was talking about was playing on a bad ankle (in my opinion should of just sat out for a non-league game) and you could tell during the game he was not a factor or his normal play, so I think after about 4 minutes into the 3rd the coach pulled all the starters out at that point (which I'm not sure I agree with that) but I'm guessing he figured even with a healthy team we had nothing for Upper!!!! Put your track shoes on if you face Upper because they have one speed and that's old school push the ball. And they did it well with fresh legs in the game rotating kids every 2 or 3 minutes non stop. Also I hope the freshman for Bellevue figures out the game soon at varsity level. Very bad attitude when things don't go his way and shows it in a very dumb and unsportsmanship like manner! It's almost kinds embarrassing to the school and team at times. The coach addresses it but I just hope the boy can work on getting his head straight. He could be a force on the court if he works at it!

Bellevue has a kid who is 4 inches taller than anything Upper has, but he prefers to play outside. Also has in past years. He has a good 3-point shot. At least against Ontario that's where he played a lot. Maybe due to Ontario having a kid the same size.

Ontario doesn't press much this year, bench is too short and too young. Had to do something, so pressed to start the 4th quarter and got the lead down to 4. The key then is DO NOT foul Jay Williams, he doesn't miss.

Who gave you the right to call him Jay? His name is Jayrese. Not the former Duke guard.
Bellevue is absolute farts at basketball. Playing young guys is only going to help the program in the long run. With youth comes immaturity at times, deal with it. The young man is obviously talented enough to play.
Willard- Ontario is dumping this year. Your duplicate bridge record has also taken a hit in 2016, any correlation here? Must be some serious dumpage going on in that community.
Meanwhile, the young Tigers continue to play well, sitting with a 3-1 record. Jared Hohler continues to dump three point shots out of his *** and lead the Tigers in scoring. Hurst is playing well. Barnes is on the way. Go tigers
