A lot of ball to be played before they start worrying about tournament.

A lot of ball to be played before they start worrying about tournament. Guarantee you that the good teams are thinking about the tournament (scouting, sectional sites, seeds, matchups)

I'm curious to know, why do you say that? Do you think the good teams are good because they are thinking about tournament and the bad teams are bad because they are not?

The good teams are good because of their players and coaches. The bad teams are bad because of their players and maybe their coaches. The good coaches have their teams prepared for who they play in the tournament. Btw, the draw is Feb 12...just over a month away

I was curious because I notice in your standings, Balogh, Schwemely and Gray are in the bottom half. So would they be bad teams not thinking about tournament?

I never mentioned if the bad teams weren't preparing or not preparing. I only mentioned the good teams

I just made a list of the standings,so people could compare the teams. It's black and white. I honestly don't care what teams are currently preparing for the tournament

I honestly don't care either. I just enjoy talking sports and hearing others opinions and viewpoints.

I think Perkins is a little better than Sandusky because they have size. We will see who wins in a few weeks. Vermilion is better than lex.

I agree that Vermilion is better tha Lexington right now. They will finish with a better record than Lex also. Lex has to go on the road to Olentangy Liberty, Wooster, Ashland, and Ottawa Glandorf all tough outs. Wooster is at another level and playing well. Ottawa Glandorf is ranked #3 in the innitial AP poll. I now that doest realy mean anything, but they are very good none the less. Olentangy Liberty is something like 7-3 right now. Ashalnd is a very good team especially at home.
Lex is getting better and will be a tough out come tournement time. By the way Lexington is #11 and Vermillion is #14 in that same AP poll for whatever thats worth.
I think Sandusky can beat anyone in the district also. Huron, Ontario, Perkins, Shelby, and Madison will all be tough outs also.

Wished Upper Sandusky was in this. Looks like they're continuing their tradition of winning. Current AP #1, III.

Former Huron head coach Jeff Winslow is the Rams head coach. Always liked him. Didn't have any talent to work with during his time at Huron, but would have been fun to see what he could have done with the back to back regional teams the Tigers had a few years back.

Sometimes it just takes being at the right place. IN his previous 2 jobs his teams went down the longer he was there. Stepped into a good place at Upper. A generous schedule and lots to work with. I hope he thanks Coach Adams on a regular basis.

Wished Upper Sandusky was in this. Looks like they're continuing their tradition of winning. Current AP #1, III. I believe Upper is Division II, not III They are big fish in small pond, playing all division IV schools, a few bigger schools. Their closet game was Shelby and I believe Upper won that by 9, which was Shelby, maybe 3rd week of playing together because of football playoffs. Don't take this wrong, Upper has a good team, but No. 1 in AP. If they played all the teams in this D2 District, they may go 500.

In the perfect world, Huron will play Ontario somewhere in the district tournament. I see Huron winning that one easily, with Willard sitting somewhere in the crowd typing away on the forum. If this happens, I will make it my personal mission to personally confront Willard Dumpmore, and if he agrees, we can play a game of duplicate bridge. However, I bet he is too scared to agree to these terms, so i'll just take a Tiger win. Willard- Ontario continues to dump, you also had a dumpy 2016 in bridge, and have yet to get a win in 2017, any correlation? Also, my friend Lyle wants to know if you know Seymour? GO tigers

Upper is DII and if anyone was paying attention they dropped in the AP rankings after winning 2 more games by an average of 37 points. Maybe someone in the voting has figured it out.
