Everytime I try to make a superteam my pitchers shred their elbows. Thankfully so do everyone else's.
(which is better than dying but still kinda frustrating)

sitting at work, watching it rain, waiting on a 4pm update to let 100 people know whether or not we're opening gates tonight. I love baseball but sometimes this business can be very frustrating. kinda like managing a fantasy baseball team.

So many kids of former players following in dad's footsteps, and on the brink. With all the other young stars already solidifying their presence in the majors I agree that today we are witnessing baseball's golden years. The strike-shortened seasons, performancing enhancing drugs, the hardline against those substances, the rapid inflation of player salaries and thus average ticket/concessions/parking prices, the rise of tv rights, public tax subsidaries funding new stadiums...it's been worth going through all of it to see today's version of the game. 20 years ago I had a much different opinion.
