There is no time table currently, it's just been assumed that you need to make the moves to complete the trade. Trying to cut it off at the head here.
I'm sure if you would've done another trade sometime today, or any transaction really, without cutting two from your minors, it wouldve likely led to some complaints.
I know TESL had a similar situation at one point that he inquired about and I told him he couldn't 'float' the players or it would cause issues

I mean, really there are a lot of issues that could come about.
I've got no problem with you taking time to figure out which players you want to cut, but I don't think you should be allowed to use anyone you got in the trade until those transactions are completed.

If the entire trade were to play out on ESPN, BROW would've had to choose the players he was going to drop before officially accepting the offer, so maybe the rule should be that, that you must designate your dropped players as part of the trade announcement. That should clear everything up? |
