I wouldn't put much stock in the Shelby vs Sandusky finally. I am curious if Sandusky played starters the entire game.

Perkins played very well, despite all of the fouling they were called for in the 1st half, Pirates played a heck of a game. They had everything to do with Huron looking like 'pretenders' tonight. Congratulations to Perkins on your SBC title, You wanted it more than Huron did. Doubt if Huron will advance to play Sandusky in the tournament. Live and die on 3's, Tonight Huron died on it, They missed a lot.

Kinda sounds like a excuse for getting beat. Get the bad one out now sense it means nothing and play hard from here on out.

A lot of yelling tonight. "Don't tell me you know, if you know JUST DO IT!" "Don't waste everyone's time if this is the way want to finish the season!" Balogh WAS NOT happy with the effort and thought processes. A great game played by Willards #11, sorry can't remember his name. Making 3 -pointers one after another with a hand in his face on most. Finished with 20 something, was that his best game? Trey Jordon led his team in scoring, had the most 3 pointers for his team, most assists for either team and most steals for either team. Ontario is 8-0 against Willard in their 4 years in the NOL. Their NOL record in their 4 years in the league is 43-5, winning 3 NOL Titles They end the regular season winning 15 of their last 16 games.

#11 for Willard was Ethan daub, he has had several games like that for Willard this year. He was definitely in a groove there for a while in the second half.

Ontario picked the right time to join the NOL. Probably the least overall quality teams in the forty some years I've known of. With the exception of this season (Sandusky) and the Norwalk season they were the best team in the league. Lexington would have done the same thing in the NOL had they joined instead. Those two programs have known some good success lately.

If he plays, I am sure the outcome is different but congrats to Shelby on the win.

Since no injury was mentioned, is there another disciplinary issue for Sandusky basketball? Let's hope so, that would get him back on the court sooner than a high ankle sprain.

"some good success" for Lex and Ontario hasn't been just "lately".

So Keith Williams who averages 12 ppg is better? If keith williams plays and gers his average, streaks still lose by 3. Streaks beat shelby by 7 at home and by one in the tournament last year so shelby has pla6yed them tough IMO.

K Williams is a stat sheet stuffer, the kid had a triple double a few games ago. J Williams is a phenomenal scorer but K Williams is the better all around player in my opinion. He is the floor general for the streaks.

Ok I get that Williams was out for whatever reason however my comment was about you saying I wonder if Sandusky starters played the entire game??? My point was this is HS I highly doubt a coach is sitting starters for whatever reason in a tight contest. JMO

"some good success" for Lex and Ontario hasn't been just "lately". You knew this re-write was coming, a whole 4 year history in the NOL makes Ontario the best program to compete in the conference... So lets review reality of 4 of the BEST teams Joe, and OHS has ever had... In 14 they upset Norwalk and then failed to get back to the rematch as Norwalk rolled through the District. In 15 OHS failed against another NOL foe Sandusky when it mattered... In 16 again OHS failed against an NOL foe SHS making Joe 0fer in D2 districts with OHS, In 2017 they finished 2nd to Sandusky... To recap their NOL existence, in the 4 years they were in the NOL Unless this year ends differently NONE of the 4 years were the best team the NOL, maybe this is Joe's year and they can win when it matters and put an end to the 0fer.... Good Luck to the Warriors and ALL NOL teams in the second season

To prove your innocence it takes a lot of facts, so I ask for the Huron poops tolerance in advance. I try to like ya port, but when you resort to skulduggery and leave out pertinent details to prove a shaky point, it's difficult. A falsehood, "a whole 4 years in the NOL makes Ontario the best program to compete in the conference". I never came close to even implying such a thing. If you're going to be badly facetious, tell us in advance, you won't look so bad. Your estimate of "4 of the BEST teams Joe and OHS has ever had". I'll just equate that to your lack of knowledge and being too lazy to verify. 3 of those 4 are some where in the Top Ten, the 4th is just above average. In 2014 Norwalk was MUCH MUCH better than Ontario. They won a State Title, had TWO Div.1 caliber players, Ontario didn't even have a Div.3 player and somehow Norwalk managed to lose that game. Ontario didn't win it. IMO, it was lack of respect and coaching. Little Ontario's 1st year in the big bad NOL, could not possibly come close to the legendary Norwalk. In the tournament Ontario lost to their equal and rival in Lexington from the more difficult OCC, who Ontario lucked out against in the regular season and beat in OT. You know what a little revenge can do for a team, right port? All one needs to do is look at the 2nd Norwalk/Ontario game in 2014. So NO SURPRISE there. In 2015 Ontario's loss to Sandusky in the tournament was JUST LIKE Norwalk's lost to Ontario in 2014. Upsets happen, ask coach Gray. In 2016 Sandusky and Ontario split in the regular season. A coin flip game in the tournament. Sandusky had a DIV1 player, Ontario didn't even have a Div.3 player. NO surprise there. Ontario's 2017 team is barely above average by Balogh standards. Ontario should beat PC, but why should they beat SBC power Vermilion? Why should they beat Lex or Sandusky, who they've already lost to 3 times? Since you broached the subject of "experience" port, allow me to present the facts of Ontario's 4 year NOL experience, being the next to smallest school in the league. They won 3 of 4 NOL Titles, finished finished 2nd the 4th year. A 4 year league record of 43-5, ended Norwalk's LONG regular season winning steak, beat the State Champions. Were undefeated against Shelby, TC, and Willard. Were 7-1 against Norwalk, 7-1 against Bellevue(their only "bad loss" in 4 years) and 5-3 against Sandusky. Port, you asked for it, so you got it. Even though you didn't deserve it. AND since Norwalk has been so poor the past 3 years, I won't deny you a little fun.
