This was BEFORE the Egyptian Airliner went down. My daughter flew into Raleigh on Monday. She works for SAS Institute and flies into Raleigh at least once/month and has been doing this since before 9/11. She said there were at least 3-timest as many uniformed officers than she has ever seen in that airport and several teams of bomb detecting dog teams, which she has never seen there before. ALL passengers had to have their luggage smelled by dogs before check in. Once the dogs did their thing TSA officials rushed all passengers through the normal check point. They did not not have to open their luggage, didn't have to reveal their laptops or even take their shoes or belts off. The TSA people just kept telling people to hurry up the lines.
Don't tell me prior to the Egyptian plane going down that there wasn't information our government had that something was going to happen at an airport somewhere. Specifically about bombs.
