Have you not heard the term manage the game. Ask Dak Prescott. Not a comparison of QBs but an example of good offense without the need for the best QB. But, we do have one of the best QB's in the game, who reads defenses about as well as you could want at this level. It's about moving the sticks and sustaining drives, J.T. does that as well as anyone. It's about scoring points. JT put up zero vs a defense the regularly gave up 30+. JT has regressed since 2014, he rated as a mediocre QB in 2016

I agree with 100% of that, and none of it had anything directly connected to JT. You can't have a dominant offense without the experience, poise and leadership J.T. Barrett is going to provide. What? I saw Cardale Jones with little experience beat Wisconsin 59-0, then take out Bama, then win a Natonal Championship game. JT is busy putting up 0 points in his playoff game

I can agree with excitement for this season, because we have seen what happens when we do not have great play around JT. With better coaching, a better line, better receivers and a better(experienced) running back, JT may look better.

Just read an article on Bucknuts that listed the top 12 OSU QBs of all time. JT was 7th.

The Adolphus Washington close call with the police has me a bit confused. As Adophus later claimed, he was putting his Glock away, after it had slid out from under his seat and the officer next to him, spotted him with the gun in his hand. Watching the video, in a moments notice, he was surrounded with officers with guns drawn, while screaming obscenity laced orders put his hands where they can see them and get out of the vehicle. AW responded he can't, he has his seat belt on...in a very calm manner.
What I don't understand, if as Adolphus claims, he possesses a concealed carry permit, so the gun was totally legal. Why was he arrested and charged with possessing a concealed weapon???

I don't remember telling anyone who compiled the list, only where I found it. Glad you were able to as well. Looks like there are others who do not have JT as high as some on here. And by others I mean those who do it for a living.

^^is that correct that Fielding Yost coached 2 schools the same year? He must have had his bags packed by the door for a number of years.....lol He was famous for his point a minute teams from 1901-05 and is credited with 6 national championship teams. There was a year, he was absent from Michigan (1924) and resumed the following year, health problems, family problems? Coaching career (HC unless noted) 1897 Ohio Wesleyan 1898 Nebraska 1899 Kansas 1900 Stanford 1900 San Jose State 1901–1923 Michigan 1925–1926 Michigan

Interesting to see the greatest coach to ever draw a breath (according to his cheerleaders at ESPN) buried at #21 on the list. Given the 10 years disparity of ages, Urban can easily surpass Saban in total career wins, if both retire at the same age. Torch, that does bring up a nasty but interesting point. Are there records of the players who died as a result of football injuries? I know that Teddy Roosevelt's intervention and the founding of the NCAA in 1906 were direct results of the carnage happening on the gridiron. What facts exist in the matter?

Yost was basically using Union guys to kick the JACK WAGON out of students and rack up all those wins that UM fans cling to like Fillmore clings to Urban's nut. It was a bloodbath.

The number of Florida Gator football players suspended for involvement with the growing fraud and theft scandal, has increased to ten players. The most recent to be suspended is the starting RB.

Amazing game by Iowa State in their upset of Oklahoma! The Cyclones snap an 18 game losing streak, with a 3rd string walk-on QB. Baker Mayfield was does short of awful at times, throwing behind his receivers and taking sacks.

Baker Mayfield puts up 30+ every game and you say he's awful. Baker Mayfield 24-33 for 306 yards, 2 TD and 0 INT - if JT Barrett IV did that then every OSU fan would be happy with him. Once again, every OSU fan would be happy with him if he could do that. 30+ points every game. Here's what JT Barrett IV does 19-35 for 183 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 16 pts - you blame everyone from the Dean to the water boy for JTIV's play 19-33 for 127 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT, 0 pts - you blame everyone from the USA President to Joe the Plumber for JTIV's play

Losing Brandon Bowen to a fractured tibia and fibula is huge. Haskins revealed why he is where he is, on the depth chart. Weber has become the complete player, decisive and assertive carrying the ball, good hands on pass routes and effective as a blocker.

Not sure why everyone is actually surprised UM lost. I told my buddy from day one they are severely over ranked. Who have they played this year? Oh that is right, a 3 loss middle of the season Florida team that will not be ranked after this week. UM could see 3 more losses easily this season. PSU, OSU, WISCONSIN.

Is Harbaugh the play caller? Very questionable continuing to throw the ball in those conditions. Sparty was happy just to run 3 times and punt. Funny part was Fowler and Herby acted like it was a big deal Sparty didn't have any first downs. Hell of a lot better punting than throwing picks
