Congratulations to Lexington on an amazing season. No players on the team will play basketball at the next level. However, one will play baseball, 2 will run cross country/track and one will play football. Several very good athletes that played together as a team. If they find a PG and Stover doesn't start the trek for his NFL career by enrolling early, there is no reason to think they can't at least repeat this seasons accomplishment next year.

The OCC was very good this year and the 14 tournament wins proves it. Lexington had an amazing time but some other big names were dropped by OCC teams as well including Massillon Washington, Dublin Scioto, Pickerington North and Perrysburg.

Not claiming it is the biggest, oldest or the best league in the area but your Coach Staab always said the OCC helped prepare his teams for tournament and I think he was right in more sports than just baseball.

Rusty liked playing in the OCC as he always told his kids it was the same as scheduling strong out of conference games and it prepared them better for playoffs.

Playing good competition can help make you better. Sound like Staab used it to his advantage.

OCC teams enrollment + CB# = total placement number for division (D1) Mt Vernon 507 + 0 = 507 (D1) Wooster 441 + 0 = 441 (D1) Ashland 408 + 15 = 423 (D1) Madison 372 + 15 = 387 (D2) Mansfield 332 + 10 = 342 (D2) Lexington 301 + 2 = 303 (D2) W Holmes 277 + 11 = 288

ASVSM moves up to DI next year. Helps Lex.
Edison up to DII
Western Reserve back up to DIII
Hillsdale up to DIII
Gates Mills Gilmour Academy is the interesting one. They have an enrollment of 150 and CB adder of 196. Which means EVERY player on their Freshman, JV and Varsity teams are from outside their enrollment area.

You could also ask what’s the importance of knowing what division Western Reserve from Berlin Center is to the few that still read his posts.

Also I’ve seen this before. Just because you have a higher CB than your enrollment doesn’t mean every kid is from outside your designated school district. Your CB is either 0, 1 or 2. In this example Gilmore Academy enrollment is 150 and CB is 196. You could have multiple students that are a tier 0 and still get to 196.

There is no way they could reach 196 with the numbers you provided.

Basketball values have always been that. Football has a value of 2
Explanation of Tiers A student’s Tier is determined based on how the student came to your school (or came to have a participation opportunity at your school). This formula will vary depending on if you are a public or non-public school. There are three Tiers (Tier 0, Tier 1, Tier 2) and each Tier is a multiplier. Tier 0 = each student on a particular team’s roster meeting the criteria of this factor, multiplied by 0 (so that number will always be 0) Tier 1 = each student on a particular team’s roster meeting the criteria of this factor, multiplied by 1 (so that number will always be 1) Tier 2 = each student on a particular team’s roster meeting the criteria of this factor, multiplied by the sport specific factor (Football = 2; Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, & Softball = 5; Soccer = 6). Note that the Tier 2 sport specific factor multiplier is determined by the number of divisions in each respective sport.

There's a Forum for the Firelands Conference. I did a cursory check of 2 of the 15 sports and found 139 posts mentioning Western Reserve.

The Western Reserve that we all know and talk about has been D3 for a long time. Just another example of an insult being made by someone who does not know what they are talking about.

Quote from Dude's post above: "You could also ask the importance of knowing what Division Western Reserve in Berlin Center is to the few that still read his posts." My mention of a dolt came AFTER his Insult above that came BEFORE mine. I just speak as spoken to. It was more like a gross exaggeration if not another of his lies. When he said "the few that still read his posts". THE TRUTH is, very few are a chicken shat like he is. As far as can be discerned only .0167 admit, when given the chance, to be as big of a chicken shat as him. Over 98% of members have no fear of reading all other members posts. He also lies about not reading what I post, as can be seen above. He is gleeful when someone quotes one of my posts, so that he CAN and DOES read it, thus able to insult AGAIN and AGAIN. Dudette the the queen of insults

I had a feeling WF would either edit or delete this post from this afternoon, so I took a screen shot of it. Here's what he wrote when had apparently still not caught on to the fact that the Berlin Center Western Reserve is not the one in the Firelands Conference.
