Holy hell, you got something against Penn? No need to get your panties in a bunch. Yep exactly - Holy Hell! Nothing against Penn.Going to be a good player. Your the one with his “panties”i in a bunch! Know what you talking about prior to posting. Have you seen him play? Penn’s “Hype” is all to do with his Father... Scoonies’ “star power”. And people like you who don’t really know - make very un-knowledgeable comments. Allocco is by far the best PG in that class and the two Cleveland’s kids are right there behind him. Time will prove my point!

I viewed a video taken within the past month, that Zach introduces himself and states he is 6-10. Not a lot of big men in this Ohio class. Certainly, no low post bangers that I am aware of. Loveday is officially 7’0 Not sure about the video you saw. He is only 15 and still growing. Hughley 6’8-9 from Brush is a big post banger And has solid ball skills to go with his big body.

I'm the one with my panties in a bunch but yet you're the one with all the exclamation points and bolding sentences. Irony at its finest.
I'm fortunate to have seen Penn play and follow recruiting pretty closely. Don't start with the "people like you" comments. You don't know me and don't know what I have seen and haven't seen.

True statement I don’t know you.. or know what you have seen or not seen. And I am sure you follow recruiting very closely. Good for you. In this case... I am much closer to these kids then you and that is very over stated fact. Be assured. And there... just for you no bold or exclamation points.

Tuck both your panties back in and lets all agree that a lot is going to change between now and graduation 2020. It is obvious you both follow recruiting closely and one of you may even have a son who currently plays travel ball with or against some of these players. But, the rankings at this point are not a prediction of what will be in 2 years.

My bad, the video was taken April 2016, so he could easily have shot up another 2 inches in that time. Will be relying on you guys that are far more informed than I, on the latest updates on the recruiting scene for Ohio State. RonBurgundy has been a valued source of knowledgeable and reliable information for Ohio State basketball and Ohio basketball in general, over the years.

OH HOOPS has PGs Clark, Jackson and Penn ahead of Allocco.

Oh snap! All kinds of fact checks and balences going on...I think we should take all these player heights to a poll and let everyone decide on what they are.

As long as they have hair on their legs they should be good to go

And we know at least 1 other poster that believes leg hair is the key!

Really like what this team can be in 2 years. If they can learn to play 40 minutes, they’d be 7-1. They’ll get there though. Wesson looks good and KBD played a great first half. Something to build on.

Something to build on. I'm like you, very impressed with level of play Holtman is getting out of these kids. Ohio State actually has talent on the court this season. I'm very optimistic where Holtman will have this program in the coming years. Taking Butler to the wire, proved we can be competitive this year.

If they put together complete games , they would have beat butler and Clemson. But sometimes that can’t happen with a lot of new faces. Solid recruit class for 18’ Osu keeps KBD for his senior year I could see them top 3 in big ten. This year, border line tourney team. Likely NiT. But just my predictions.

The thing really hurting this team right now is a solid point guard. Every level of basketball needs a good pg to be successful and we don't have that right now. CJ Jackson has improved from last year but he's still just not at the level that a Big Ten starting pg needs to be. And Dakich obviously isn't a solid backup pg either. Realistically both these players belong at MAC level probably but it's what we have so hopefully they can just keep getting better. I'm with everyone else though, I like what I see so far and remember, Tate will probably be the only player we really lose next year unless Bates-Diop somehow goes pro. I think Kaleb Wesson should be the starting center the rest of the year too over Potter, I like what I see from him. Almost reminds me a little bit of Jared Sullinger.

They had a 15 point lead in the 2nd half against Butler and choked. They do not have a go to guy. I thought Bates-Diop would fill that roll. He's had big 1st halves, but disappears when a team is coming back on them in the 2nd half.

I just want to choke Jackson some times. He thinks he's another Isaiah. Before he tries to average 20PPG he needs to learn how run the offense and stop with the turnovers.

Yeah, can’t wait for a true PG. Some solid wings coming in next year, they’ll have to hit on a PG next class for sure.

Yeah, can’t wait for a true PG. Some solid wings coming in next year, they’ll have to hit on a PG next class for sure. One good thing though is Muhammad and Washington can play pg if needed, and both do quite a bit for their respective teams. So our pg play next year should be better, even if we don't hit on a big time pg. Everything I've read is Holtmann is definitely going after a pg though and trying to fill that hole.

Despite the lack of a commanding point guard, this team runs the floor quite well. Holtmann likes to play an uptempo, free flowing offense and aggressive, baseline to baseline defense. Once recruits get a look at his style of play, they'll want to play on this team.
One thing that aggravated me was Matta's preoccupation with getting back on defense, the shot was in the air, our guys were half way up the court essentially giving the defensive team the easy rebound. I want to see our guys getting a body on someone, aggressively blocking out to claim the offensive rebound. If you get more than your share of offensive rebounds, getting burned on the transition becomes less of a concern.

Ohio State 83 Wisconsin 58
It's the largest margin of loss the Badgers have ever suffered at the Kohl Center

Nice win for OSU and Holtmann. Although I cannot remember Wisc being this weak in a long time. Don't look now, but this team is a stones throw from being decent.

I see this season being a .500 team and improving regardless of wins and losses. The progress so far has been positive even with the losses. On good thing for next year is the announcer's kid will be gone. OMG is he bad.

Yeah Dakich is bad, he should be the pg for Toledo or Akron, but it is what it is for this year. The team looked great on Saturday, we'll see if that momentum carries into tonight against Michigan.

This young team has some fight in them. Great win for Osu with a nice crowd! KBD and Tate are some good leaders. Keep it rolling young bucks.

Any win over scUM is a good win! This team may give us heartburn at times, but what an improvement!

Any win over scUM is a good win! This team may give us heartburn at times, but what an improvement! This is the same scUM that defeated VCU and most recently, blowing out Indiana by 14, on the Hoosiers home court. Holtmann is going to take this program to new levels, gonna be a fun ride in coming years.

I really like Holtman's offense compared to Matta's. He's flexible, willing to try different things. He's already had 7 different players in his starting lineup. Matta was set in his ways. Keita Bates-Diop has figured it out. He MUST be the go to guy, every good team has to have one. If he had figured it out earlier, Ohio State would 10-1 now and should be 13-1 going into the North Carolina game. Ranked for the first time in several years.
