If they win the B1G tourny that will change.

Purdue and Sparty are ahead of the Bucks in rpi and sagrain ratings. 4 seed is about right for the Buckeyes on February 11.

Question; does the regular season Big Ten Champion receive a trophy or plaque? Pretty sure there can be two champions, correct?

Rough one last night. The game at Michigan Sunday will be huge if they want to win the conference title. Also last nights loss likely dropped them a seed line. Granted nobody thought we would be talking conference title or seed lines at the beginning of the season

PSU played a very physical game and the bucks couldn't match up with that, especially at tge guard positions. Me thinks that ultimately will be their downfall in both the B1G and NCAA tourneys as well. They are simply not a real physical team and the tourneys traditionally feature some big, tough, physical basketball.

Rewatch last years final

Michigan State was down by 27 to Northwestern in the first half. Northwestern only scores 11 in the 2nd half and MSU wins by 5

If someone could tell KBD that the game started that would be helpful

A great year for Ohio State, but they are looking like a 5 seed that gets upset by a 12 seed. No guard play.

Imo, osu peaked mid season looks like. Guard play horrible this game, kbd inconsistent, can’t make free throws or easy lay ins. hope osu finishes season strong and big ten tourney. And get atleast 1 win in the tourney

Osu just not physical. And tonight again just can't seem to finish. Afraid have to agree. One and out in B1G tourney and same in ncaa. Great year though, exceded any expectations I had for them.

I think the week off will do these guys well. Holtmann said they were exhausted and I can see why. 4 games in 8 days and 3 on the road.
Yes was a great win. Anything after last night is gravy for me. They accomplished more than I ever hoped for in this season. I guess I'd like to see us play our best in NCAA tourney and if we get beat by a better team, then so be it. I'd say if I had to call it, we are capable of winning one for sure in the dance and perhaps two if the right match up comes along. Very little NCAA experience might work against us. KBD and Jasean Tate had 18 between them vs VCU in the OT 2015 win,,,,, KBD Kam Williams and Jasean Tate had 7 points between them in the AZ game from 2015, which was our last game in the Tourney.

I see that,,,man you have to be glad he didn't make his way to OSU. There was chatter early this summer of him coming to OSU and we had to "settle for Holtmann"--lol

Remember the name Kobi Simmons? A lot of people thought Matta had him wrapped up and he’d be coming to osu then all of a sudden he visits Arizona after them not even being in his top 3 and he commits to Arizona? Hmmm...
As for Ohio State, what a fitting end to this season. Unreal what this team has done. For my own selfish purposes I hope KBD comes back next season but I don’t blame him if he leaves.

I don't know. If all of the kids on that list are suspended for post season play the OSU's chances just rose significantly.

They allowed KBD to participate in Senior night. He's officially gone. JMHO

Arizona's Sean Miller is not allowed to coach in his next game, I have no idea why he hasn't been fired yet. But the player he offered $100,000 to on a taped phone call, Deandre Ayton, is allowed to play. I guess at this point they can't prove he took the money. I wonder what kind of car he drives? JMHO

It doesn't matter. All they had to do was give the money to his father and have him pretend to not know about it. Ask Cam Newton. The precedent has already been set. After the whole Auburn charade it's amazing to me that anyone can get in trouble after that. Also, agents aren't boosters and affiliated with the college so unless a coach is as stupid as Miller they have nothing but plausible deniability.

About 98% of these problems would go away if the NBA would get rid of 1 and done rule.

Then the players who aren't good enough to go straight to the NBA would become the hot products and get the $100,000 hand shakes. Simple law of supply and demand. JMHO

Were talking about stupid teenagers and ignorant fathers. They won't be able to resist spending the chicken feed, that $100,000 is. As soon as his Freshman season(less than a year) is over, he and pops will be getting 100 times that amount PER YEAR.

As long as the father spends it there's apparently no violation. Ask the NCAA and Auburn.

i'd take the $100K and so would 99% of the posters on here.
This is what I am paying the FBI to do? Lol if the boosters/coaches kept the money (didn't give it to the kid) then there was no violation. It's beautiful.
