Thanks. .....wait a minute... Bellevue scored 21 points? A number that is not divisible by 6 or 2? Is this a typo, or at some point in time did the ball actually travel between the goalposts after being struck by a Bellevue players foot? It's true and I was stunned when the kid ran out there. He's solid and if Ed is willing to stick with it they should have a pretty solid kicking game.

Freshman was all Bellevue. Bellevues size and depth simply wore out PC. Redskinfan, did Bellevue have a good number of kids on their freshman team it sounds like?

Yea it's been four or five years sense we have kicked extra points. Hell last year they didn't even practice it during the week. I don't understand why you wouldn't work on it sense this is part of the game. A important part. Our team has lost a lot of games due to lack of kicking. The boy kicking for us is a Freshman. I believe he plays as a tackle on the JV. His kick off during practice is around the 10 yard line so he does a nice job from what I have seen. I'm also told his dad has worked with him sense he was little and he kicked for the ICS for the last four or five years at the lower level. Happy to have him.

"Lost a lot of games due to lack of kicking"? You must have been looking at the box score and think because it was a close game, they lost because of an XP or FG.

The last time Bellevue kicked extra points was the 2014 season, which was Jake Strayer's senior year. Nice to hear about this kid. Not surprised to hear that he's been working on kicking for a long time before getting to HS...since having either a kid like that or some other special situation like a foreign exchange student or girl who joins the team solely to kick are the only times that Ed will even bother with attempting occasional PAT's. ...and as far as field goals go, the last time Bellevue made a FG was in 2003 at Tiffin, kicked by Mike Snyder from PAT range to gain a 10-9 lead in an eventual 17-10 loss. As far as I know, that's also the last time Bellevue has even attempted a FG, although I've had someone tell me they remember another attempt more recently (which if it happened would have been at game I missed as I surely would have remembered it)

How did BG/Oak Harbor go? I heard Oak Harbor did well but no details. Oak Harbor is going to be hard to get a read on for awhile this season. Outside of what should be a down Genoa team they don't really play anyone until they play Perkins in week 5.

Should go at least 8-2 IMO.

A small school yes, but strong program.

Huron scored 2 times and Norwalk did not score in the 2 qtr portion of the scrimmage. Jah Leh was stopped after getting off the bus and searched and detained for questioning due to suspicious substances found in his backpack.

Jah Leh was stopped after getting off the bus and searched and detained for questioning due to suspicious substances found in his backpack. From what I was told, Mr. Leh was found to have "Pick Juice" in his water bottle, a mixture of Molly water and deer blood. He has been arrested on felony drug possession and will miss the remainder of the season for the Tigers. Thoughts from the scrimmage.. Huron looked pretty good. Their strength will be their offensive line which is pretty big by Huron standards. Critelli is a nice runner. David is a legitimate deep threat on the outside. These Tigers will beat Perkins on Friday. GO Tigers
