It's not just Ross that wants out. Clay and Lima would both bolt if they had other options as well. Ross, Clay and Maumee to SBC Lake? Ross Clay Columbian Sandusky Norwalk Maumee Clyde Perkins Bellevue Vermilion Port Clinton Huron Oak Harbor Edison Willard Margaretta Woodmore Lakota Gibsonburg Hopewell Loudon Calvert SJCC SMCC Danbury

If Maumee ever left the NLL, Clay would be all over that open spot. I doubt that Maumee would leave for the SBC, but Ross would in a heart beat.

I can't think Clay and Maumee being enthused going to Norwalk and vice versa.

I doubt they would be interested. Some in the SBC have made it clear they want nothing to do with Ross, so that will probably never happen.

TRAC should merge with TCL and form 2 divisions. Then the SBC can schedule Cincinnati and Cleveland area teams when they would no longer have the option of picking up the City League cupcakes in weeks 4 and 5.

Remember the Toledo schools joined the TRAC mainly because the state of sports was in limbo in TPS. Things have stabilized out now so one must wonder if there is a longing for home as they say...
A 2 divison league could have a reshuffle every 2 years based on records. Thats how the old TCL used to do it anyways.

There was also talk when the TRAC was established that the six remaining TCL schools might be merged into the conference at some point. So who knows. I think it would help the six TCL schools athletic departments financially.

Jafo Sbc wants nothing to do with Fremont . Already have to deal with inner city type school with Sandusky and those shannagins that come with them Wow why don’t you just really say whats on your mind. The SBC doesn’t want schools that have black people??

Apparently. That wouldn't explain Sandusky's "no vote" on adding Ross however.

That came across the wrong way. Either way, never going to happen unless Ross all the sudden drops in the 350 boy range. Right now Colombian has 332 actual boys (I still don't get how they get 88 boys more for Comp Balance - they had to do that wrong - that would mean out of 70 kids on their FB team last year, 44 either transferred in after Frosh year just doesn't make any sense).
So you look at a Division of: Ross - 461 TC - 332 Clyde - 320 Sandusky - 317 Norwalk - 328 Bellevue 261 Perkins 267
Again I can see why Ross would want in. Why would those schools WANT them? Other than the fact they are close. Never going to happen - so you can call Bellevue, Clyde, Tiffin, Perkins, Norwalk and Sandusky what you want, it won't happen.

That is a big #'s difference. Equivalent to Bellevue playing a school with double digit boys in it . Ross actually added enrollment if I'm correct this year while many others dropped.

That is correct - TC's competitive balance numbers are incorrect. They submitted them in error but OHSAA denied their appeal. Really has minimal impact on much. Divisional assignments are now redone every year. They'll be back to D3 next year.

The SBC doesn’t want schools that have black people?? Idiotic things to post. If Fremont were to join the SBC, Sandusky and even suburban/ rural Perkins would still each be home to a higher rate of black Americans than Fremont. Furthermore, if you, JohnStudd, really believe that Sandusky kids are "inner city type," you have not spent much time in neither Sandusky schools nor a major American city. I have both experiences, teaching in them, in fact. SHS kids are most definitely rougher than their local peers, to be sure, but look like saints next to some kids in Cleveland and even in some of the eastern inner-ring 'burbs. Come off it.

Having my boys play for years I've learned Fremont is not locked in. We have kids from rice twp, Riley twp, Washington twp ( Lindsay kids) etc on football team. Alot of farm kids. As well Fremont proper.
Our Jr.All conference Lb Garrett Schneider comes from a farming family.( hard working mentality kids). So Ross is not locked in.
Good luck to whitmer going forwar.. You all better kick butt invplayoffs.Good luck to Fremont. This is ray longs last game at Clyde before joining Ross as DC next year.He will have good kids back.

I think the way people see and think that Sandusky as inner-city is because of what they read in the paper. What they see is gang fights and drive by shootings in certain areas of town but since I used to work in Sandusky I know a lot of people from there and it is in really a town with people who care about and are very friendly and they get along with everybody. It only takes a few rotten apples and everyone then thinks that the whole barrow is rotten. Some of these rotten apples don't even live in Sandusky. I am pretty sure that Norwalk doesn't care if Fremont is in the league, as a matter of fact we use to play against each other in the , I believe the league was called The Big Six League or something like that, and having Fremont in the league would help make the league stronger. We play Fremont in 5th. and 6th. grade football anyway and sometimes we beat you and sometimes we don't. I realize that these are elementary games and not high school but you never know what might happen when these kids get up there. A lot depends on what kind of coaches you have in these grade levels. I used to coach at both St. Paul's and Norwalk and at the high school level St. Paul's is better than a lot of bigger schools in the area because of the coaches. If I were to have a vote I would vote Fremont into the league.

Central score is a bit of a shock. Rainy nights seem to bring out some really strange results/scores.
