Parade is set for Wednesday, though we don't have a time. Rumors are that Haslam offered his stadium for the Championship Rally. WTAM is saying that it's possible they will go up East 9th for the parade.
Of note is that the Tribe plays at 7:10 that night, and in order for them to have parking for the event and police to handle those crowds the parade will have to be early enough to free up safety service personnel as well as parking. So could be pretty interesting.
I'm also hoping that the next 3 nights of Tribe games are sold out and that the crowds are having a blast celebrating and rooting on the first place Tribe!

Judging from watching the game a little last night, it looked very sparse. Edit: 13, 811 was the attendance. About 1/4 full. Really lousy for a 1st place club and one that a lot of people should have still been in downtown area.

Somewhat weird seeing that parade route. I'd always kind of assumed (and have probably heard it referenced) that a Cleveland championship parade would go down Euclid and involve Public Square. Though I suppose we didn't exactly expect Public Square to be undergoing a massive renovation when the championship finally came.

Got your Rams jersey yet kid? Or you sticking with D'Angelo?

If one doesn't go to several games a year, one should not mention poor attendance. I now go to maybe 1 or 2, when I went to more they were free tickets. So It's not my place. 13811 is closer to 1/3 than 1/4

I left my house around 6:30am for the Cleveland airport to catch the RTA into downtown. I was listening to WTAM and they said the traffic into the airport was about 3hrs and the RTA wait was another 3 hrs. Turned around and decided to come to work.

Just saw that all of the RTA lots are already parked completely full, and lines into the stations are several blocks long at some locations.

Torch, I guess if I missed the boat, then the issue shouldn't have been brought up, and by vottrucker.
BTW, the Tribe currently ranks last in attendance.
I hope Russell gets shipped. I didn't want him in the first place as Buckeyes typically don't become franchise-changing players.

I had a great seat for the parade, In my house watching the re run of it on Fox 8 at 3 AM, while I was getting ready for work. I thought LeBron could have and should have been more professional in curbing his foul language. You can still enjoy celebrating with out the potty mouth.

I had a great, long tiring day. I took the Jet Express out of Lorain docked right next to the R&R HOF. Easy in, easy out. Stood in the swarm at Lakeside & 9th. Was close enough to shake hands with some as they went by.
What a day.
