Lawrence 494 Audrey Ruth Rose 443 Heather Slone 695 Richard Willoughby 761 Total Votes 4,900 Heather had a shot but too many others running for board w no hope of winning may have hurt her. One guard member changed. Rick W is a good guy.

Ohio Voters were not buffaloed by the phony scheme that was Issue @2, concocted by California con artists.
Issue #1 was an exercise in redundancy, but a vote either way on this had many pros and cons. We now have more rules and regulations added to the overburdened court and legal system in Ohio, translating into more taxpayer expense. On the other hand, it will at times, serve the greater good for some victims of crime, so that's not a bad thing.

I'n not sure this is the result that those who were involved in the "debate" expected with the exception of Ric Willoughby. I think that the fact that Audrey Rose had moved back here in the last few years didn't help her chances. With that being said ... she still got more votes than Donna Cok. After the debate ... I think that Cok and Lawrence both looked as though they were running with a vendetta in mind. For whatever the reason ... the voters have spoken.
At the end of the day ... this shows that the silent majority gets out and votes.

Shelby's school bond issue failed, which among other things would have built a new football stadium out by the HS. So W. W. Skiles Field will continue to be the home of the Whippets.

I guess Willard BOE has not hit rock bottom yet. Keep electing the same yes people and keep getting those F report cards for the district as a whole. Donna C and Lawrence were dating, huge no no when trying to get elected. Lawrence, from what I was told went off the deep end a few times on FaceBook and ticked quite a few off. I guess its the same old same old with Willard. Rod, a nice guy but been in there way too long, he is just riding out the insurance with that gig. Same with Danhoff. I was a little sad to see Heather Slone not win. She seems pretty legit and would shake the bush, which is needed.

Shelby's football field is already perfectly located, in the middle of a flood plain.
Waka waka.

I think that Cok and Lawrence both looked as though they were running with a vendetta in mind. For whatever the reason ... the voters have spoken. At the end of the day ... this shows that the silent majority gets out and votes. I thought rose, slone and d. cok would get on. Rose seems like a peace keeper, Cok seemed like she would hold people accountable and Slone does a ton for the school and the community. They all three appear to care about the kids and want to do what is right. Lawrence can be outspoken and I think that hurt his chances. Some people don't like people that speak their minds, Lawrence will. Rod and Marsha got on because the pool was diluted with too many people running. The other thing that hurt those three, people over 60 are a majority of your voters in a non-presidential election. The people that wanted change and could have benefited from it the most are not typically voters and it showed by the results in the polls, less than 43% of the total number of votes were cast by people within the city limits. Let the ship keep pushing forward with these same old board members and I hope there are no people complaining now because they had a chance to change things but failed to get out and vote. Good luck Willard community, you have spoken by not voting these three in.

None of the candidates you mentioned were able to reach the home PCP lab contingency, a crucial spoke extending from the hub of the local politico. Ignore them at your own peril.

I have heard that the candidate for the Willard board who received the least amount of votes is now telling people she will be pulling her kids out of Willard eventually as she doesn’t feel her kids are safe there. In my opinion that’s not a good look, you wanted to be on the board but now are going to be taking your kids out. What a sad situation.
