A great place to play a game. St. Paul if I were you I would hope to be the visitors cause when that cold wind blows at least you will have it at your backs.

St Paul will win, but don’t see them beating either MAC school next week

Scarlet: I wouldn't say St. Paul's has the best players from Norwalk but they do have the best coach for them. And that makes the biggest deference there.

Yes, the main man knows how to coach and his assistants are pretty darn good as well. They might not have the best atheletes around Norwalk but they do have the best collective group of young men that play football. This season started in late January for these players. That is the main difference between them and other football programs/schools. The time and commitment from the players and staff is like no other school around. Their season doesn’t start in July! Good luck Flyers! Hopefully you are playing next week and can make the all knowing Boss Hog eat some crow.

Even if their programs aren’t any good. The difference for SP is that the kids hold each other accountable. This includes the girls and boys. On game nights the Flyers technique on the line of scrimmage stands out. Be interesting how this team reacts when the game is tight and the coaching/talent is equal

Minster just beat Delphos St John's. I wonder where St Paul and Minster will play...Lima? Findlay?

Scarlet: I know what you are saying. I started St. Paul's 6th. grade football program and coached for them for 7 years. When John told me that I couldn't coach anymore because I had HEP C the Norwalk 6th. grade coach asked me to help coach for them on the o-d line and I did that for about another 7 years. I heard it all from both sides and believe me it's not the kids that don't like each other it's the adults. And I and my wife, we were caught in the middle of it because my oldest son was still at St. Paul's and my youngest transferred to Norwalk Sr. so both sides were telling us on how the other school doesn't do this for the field and other stuff and the other is telling us the same thing, when really both sides did something. I think the only way both will be happy with each other is if both teams where winning all the time like in the 60's & the 70's. Norwalk Sr. had Coach Hart and St. Paul's had Coach Gottfried and than Coach Hubans. Maybe this will happen again one of these day's than again maybe not. Oh just to let you know that Norwalk Sr. is now div-3. Honest mistake since when my youngest was playing they were div-2 but we had our big classes graduated. Never knew this. You’ve done a lot for Norwalk’s kids. New respect level d from a, serious no sarcasm. Thank you!
