my original comment was he never got any better and you pulled a Fillmore and blamed his teammates
hitting 1 out of 4 shots doesn't really count as "hit a shot"...even a blind squirrel finds a nut

A) Don’t ever compare me with that person B) Are disagreeing that he had better teammates when he was a freshman/sophomore than when was junior/senior?

I HAVE said positive things FOR Barrett. AGAIN YOU DON'T READ. Do I have to list all of the Ohio State and Big Ten records he holds, his winning % and his QB rating this year, AGAIN? Your hate keeps you from recognizing the difference between facts and stats and insults. UNLIKE YOU and other haters I ALWAYS support the starter, regardless of position or sport at Ohio State. UNLIKE YOU and other haters, I WILL be supporting whoever is the starting QB next year. UNLIKE YOU and other haters I'm not so obtuse to claim to know more than some of THE best college coaches in the county. I can't believe a person with your education can't or won't read what is written. The subject YOU FIRST addressed me about, in an insulting manner, was the substitution of a backup QB at half time of a big game. In relationship to Urban and JT. All I did was show that the backup at Ohio State played as much as the back up at Alabama did this year in big games. THEN asked why Saban didn't make the move in the Auburn loss to assure a playoff spot. THEN asked at what obvious point in Ohio State's 2 losses, a backup QB would have made a difference. You are aware that Saban DID NOT replace Hurst at the start a game, even though he was not his favored QB. All you can do is ask innocuous questions yet NEVER EVER answer questions asked of you. WHY?? Unless you start answering questions posed, we will continue to assume you have no good answers. You're the one with the ignorant ugly insults. A two bagger for Craft and JT, two well thought of Ohio State athletes. BTW, a stupid analogy, who was supposed to replace Craft? ANSWER THE QUESTIONS chicken. I'm not afraid to like you are. W Saban replaced Jalen when he started to suck, which is what Urbs should have done to JT...in 2015. Especially when every QB who ever replaced JT in the starting lineup has a better Win % than he did. WIN...compare JTs career Win % to Cardales, or Haskins...and when you cry about sample size then realize that cuts both ways when you tout the career stats of a guy who started 4 years because he wasn't good enough to advance to the next level vs guys who started 2 or 3 years. Saban did what was best for the team. Not what was best for his "family." That's why he has won TWO more titles since Urban lucked into one when Barrett went down vs UM in 2014 and was replaced by 12 Gauge. You do not know what you're talking about. Jalen "sucked" LONG before Saban replaced him. Jalen only completed 60.6% of his passes in the 13 games prior to the Georgia game. In 6 of those 13 games he only completed 52.5% of his passes. He only had 17 TD passes in 13 games. In the loss to Auburn Jalen only completed 12 of 22. Why did Saban wait until 96% of Jalen's bad season was over before replacing him? Why didn't Saban replace Jalen in the Clemson game last year?? More fake news. QB's in read option offenses rarely make it big in the NFL. Fire Urban or come to the realization that there will never be an NFL All-Pro type QB playing at Ohio State. OR start rooting for a team that plays in the Sun Belt Conference where they win or lose games 60-50, but will never sniff the College Playoffs, even if and when they go to 8. Here's a piece of REAL news for you. Drew Breeze played 3 years for Purdue. JT set 90% of his records in the first 3 years he played. Just showing how doltish another of your insults is. BEFORE desperation time sat in for Saban, he was doing what was best for the "family". He was playing a QB worse than JT and holding on for dear life. BTW, after the college post season games, JT ended up as #5 Rated QB in the country. Give us the reasons that Cardale was the sole reason for winning the 2014 National Title. ANSWER THIS QUETION. ANSWER ONE of the MANY questions I've asked you, CHICKEN. I always answer all of your questions, I'm not afraid, like you are.

The reason we won in 2014 was because Barrett got hurt boss. The reason we didn't win 2015 is because he didn't get hurt.
Pretty simple stuff.
Rolling up 55 on garbage teams doesn't impress me like it does you, in an age where more offensive plays are run than ever before.
Saban, "desperate?" ROFL!
and you spelled Brees wrong

ZERO logic, underling.
You're using gypsy woman card reader's look into the future. In 2014 you have no idea what would have happened if JT had not broken his ankle. At the time he was having the best season by any QB in Ohio State history. Give us FACTS to support your gypsy mind ideas.
Saban didn't have the nerve to replace Hurst against Clemson last year. Nor after poor games by Hurst during the season this year OR during the loss to Auburn. Sound familiar? FINALLY he pulled the trigger at half time of the Georgia game. WHY WAIT SO LONG?? "Family"? Sound familiar?? Urban made the decision to replace his starter who was having the best season of any QB in Ohio State history, as a Red Shirt Freshman, at THE BEGINNING of the following season. A RARITY! After that very difficult decision was made, the play of the new starting QB was so poor(he couldn't "roll up 55 on garbage teams") couldn't complete 60% of his passes, he only had 8 TD passes compared to 5 INTS against "garbage teams". Urban had to swallow his pride and reverse his decision.
So the whiners who say Urban wouldn't make a decision for change due to "family"..... How easy it is for you to forget when it doesn't fit your agenda.
AGAIN, unlike those of your ilk, I supported both QB's when they were the starter. AND supported the decisions of the head coach who knows 1000 times more about football than you or I will ever know. That sees all of his players every minute of every practice. AND knows how hard they work in the off season and know how they participate in position meetings. Know how much time is spent in film study.

I'm looking forward to Ohio State getting back to being a National Power.
Watch out Alabama because Ohio State is finally back, no more JT Barrett holding the team back. Matt Wilhelm former Ohio State NATIONAL CHAMPION linebacker agrees 100% with me on Barrett. Matt Wilhelm regularly states on his radio show how JT holds the offense back and the entire team. He said today he is looking forward to next year when all those great Urban Recruits get to shine instead of watching JT run the ball. He said there will be no more 6 carries for Dobbins vs Iowa (loss) while Dobbins watches the QB run it a million times more than him. paraphrased.
I like Matt Wilhelm, Mr National Champion linebacker for the 2002 Ohio State Buckeyes.
Now enter sportsjock claiming Matt Wilhelm is a hater and not a good Buckeye.

Take note of Paris Campbell coming back. He's coming back because JT is gone. Remember all those receivers leaving early the past couple of years. As soon as they were eligible to go pro the jetted out of OSU because the QB made them look bad. Paris Campbell is coming back because JT is gone and he knows in 2018 he will have a QB that will make him look good.
Let's go Buckeyes, we're back, a National Power again.

Dobbins averaged 8.5 ypc vs Iowa and yet Ohio State lost by 31. How? Oh that's right Mr. Ball hog only gave him the ball 6 times while giving it to Iowa 4 times.
JT "Ball Hog" Barrett IV 6 - # of times he handed it off to Dobbins who averaged 8.5 ypc 4 - # of times he gave it to the wrong team 1,000 - # of times he ball hogged it from his teammates. extraordinary game by JT
JT cost OSU the 2015 game vs MSU because he wouldn't let Zeke get the ball JT cost OSU the 2017 Iowa game because he gave Iowa the ball just as much as Dobbins OSU needed a QB playing QB in those games not a ball hog playing QB.
