Congratulations to the Flashes, Sharing a Bay Conference championship with Vermilion. #33 is one heck of a player, He played 23:02.8 of the 24 mins. Looked to me like the Flashes will advance as far as he takes them. Best of luck in the post season.

xlegend,,I have noticed that too as I look at the scores. Keeping your opponent in the 40's night after night will win you a lot of games. If your shooting is off. which may happen,,just need to grind out a win via your defense. The old saying of course is "defense travels every night" .
At this point nobody should care about how many we win by, as long as it's 1 point or more. Win= Advance and on to the next one.
Best of Luck to the Flashes. Thank you team and coaches for giving us a great regular season. SBC Champs---Lots more to accomplish as well.

Its tt time willard fans.what an atmosphere at last nights game. Haven't seen that since the 05-06 season.lets get behind these boys and fill up the gyms once again...guessing we'll play Wynford which has a nice player in crawl.have some tree stumps down low.we played them earlier at their place on a Tuesday night in which we won I believe by 7. We played with foul trouble the whole night also.one game at a time. Can not be looking past anyone. Go flashes

Baldridge kicked butt, only scary part about the whole game was after he got a 'T' for hanging on the rim after his THIRD dunk we were in danger if he got a 2nd T and he'd sit out 2 games.
I was worried and wanted him to sit the rest of the game to be safe, and he about got a 2nd T with 4 mins left in the game when he took exception to a 5th foul from a Cougar when he was going up for a layup = O but he didn't.
Shew, anyway on to districts!

This Willard team wouldn't make a pimple on the posterior of Auggie's Eagles. Im disappointed in you knite. Obviously, you havent seen them at their best. Surely, at their worst, they wouldnt make a pimple on most jack wagons. But I havent seen their worst in over a month. They have potential.....that kind of potential. Obviously you know me. That said, you should know that I don't sugar coat. On Feb. 10, they don't get a whiff of the 1984 STATE CHAMPION Eagles. On Feb. 19, after I saw Willard play VERY WELL, against a VERY BAD Tiffin Columbian team (who I've seen play very bad a couple of times this year), I'd give Willard 1 win in 10 vs. Monroeville, circa 1984.....after all.....those guys are all over 50 now and bellies at least as big as mine.

Crimson 5: Upon further review, I figured out who you be. (I think) LOL! IF you graduated in 1983, why were you playing Summer ball in 84, or did I miss something?

I think your one in ten is bs.50 50 worst case scenario for willard. Not only is your belly bigger but your eyesight is going as well. This willard team could run with them anytime...like I've said this team has 5 guys that can put 20 on you at anytime.

That 91 team really makes you scratch your head. Loads of talent and balanced. Ran rough shot over almost every other team in the league the fell to Fostoria. 4 of 5 on the floor were capable of going out and hanging 20 on you any given night. But agree that they would/do look at that as opportunity lost and sure winning the NOL was cherry, not what the goal of that team really was. Similarly to the two undefeated Upper teams. Record and expectation wise. I am sure blowing through the N10 was nice but not at all what the full focus was on. Lotta Indians on that great 91 team but no real leader chief so to speak. When times got tough they folded 😢 One of 2 years lex won the title when we beat them in reg season 89&91. Sigh Both years...not just 1.

And you want to use that as a point of validation, somehow, that THIS Willard team is comparable to THAT Monroeville team? Please. Just. Stop. Now, I'm fairly certain that you have a relative on the team, and you're as biased as hail, but please, just stop. Next you'll want to run this group up against Upper Sandusky '05 or '07. I covered that Monroeville team in '84 and saw over half of their games. Thanks to modern technology, I've seen this Willard aggregation a few times too. My eyes were fine in '83-'84, and with the aid of glasses, they're fine now. My belly, well, I'm fat, and you're ugly, but I can diet. Thanks for the slap and tickle. Good luck to the Crimson Flashes. I picked them to win this District after watching Mohawk win at Upper Sandusky, and I'll stand by that. I'll be at the Regional Semi games at B.G.S.U., will Willard?

I hesitate to say how good this team looks to me. However it does validate my eyes and gut when I watched them in the first quarter v Upper.
I looked at my friend and said ‘I think we’re pretty damn good?’ Then the next 3 quarters happened. We certainly are a different team now, I just hope they keep it up it’s a lot of fun.
