Post up schools' scrimmage schedules so those of us "out of the loop" can go watch some.

After three 10 play series for each team it's Bellevue 1 Oak Harbor 0.
OH dropped a TD on play 10 of possession 1, both teams threw ints on possession 2, and Bellevue scored on play 8 of possession 3.

Boths team's reserves had drives that came up short deep in the others territory on possession 4, and that's the end of the scrimmage.

In two quarters of play Clyde kinda dominated Eastwood. The Fliers were up 21-0 and Eastwood made it a 21-7 game with second string in the game and about 2 minuets left in the 2nd quarter.

Clyde and Eastwood Varsity each ran 20 offense and 20 defensive plays first, it was even play 0-0. Then in the half in which the both teams starters played the 1st quarter and 2 or 3 minutes the second. Clyde won 2-0, Eastwood had terrible field position the whole half. Eastwood punting Team was terrible Clyde keep getting the ball at mid field or less. The rest the 2nd team played the last 8-9 minutes and both scored once. I think both teams have a lot of work to do.

Read elsewhere that Sandusky/Clearview played pretty even, but Sandusky's RB did not play. Is he hurt?

Precautionary like Tom Brady, he will be ready game 1 which could be a dog fight because I don’t think the line will be very strong for sandusky on both sides. They have the speed and skill but you need to have some blocking.

How'd Huron look vs Lake last week?

How'd Huron look vs Lake last week? Not too bad. Moved the ball through the air pretty efficiently with the 3 qbs, I saw them play with. Running game struggled as well as the run D. Still early but they appear the have some nice outside targets and should be able to put some points up. Each team scored once with the ones playing, Huron scored later with a mix of kids for both teams playing.

Sandusky looked solid against Toledo St. Francis. 31-3 was score for 3 quarters. They will definitely have the best running back in the area for the next two years. The stewart kid is a stud. Should touch the ball 25 times a game but how creative will Franklin get because I am sure teams will load the box and make Sandusky beat them through the air.

Bellevue 21 Firelands 0, final after just shy of 2 quarters.
Bellevue scored on their first 3 possessions and then turned it over on downs late in the 2nd quarter, and shortly after that the scrimmage was called with 2:19 on the clock due to downpouring rain.

Columbian won 9-7 over Columbus Bishop Watterson tonight in the varsity first half. The JV 2nd half was cancelled due to Bishop Watterson not wanting to play due the coming rain!?
In full disclosure this did not look like a typical Bishop Watterson team but with the season Columbian had last year they played great against a perennial state powerhouse and will give them confidence heading into week 1.
The TC Freshman also won 13-0 over Bishop Watterson in a half before the varsity preview.

Varsity final: Huron 20 Norwalk 0. Game ends with 7:24 left 2nd quarter, Due to 2nd lighting delay of the evening. Norwalk had 4 total possessions that ended with 2 punts, An interception, And a turnover on downs, 0 points. Huron was on their 4th possession, when game called. Tigers scored 3 TD's, 2 running, 1 passing. Too many flags for a scrimmage, especially on Norwalk. Truckers have size, but self destructed. Tigers very talented.
JV game: Tigers 1 touchdown, Truckers 0. After 20 plays each. Freshmen game: Truckers 1 Tigers 1. Game ends in a tie, after 20 plays each.

Mansfield is going to Handle Norwalk easily I believe. Mansfield won Their scrimmage against Fremont 18-16 was the final. I’m not sure what the Varsity final was but when I left half way through the second quarter Mansfield had the lead 6-0. Mansfield’s kicker won the game for them with one second left on the clock he hit around a 40-45 yard field goal.

Edison fell to Norwalk St. Paul 28-13 in 2 quarters of play. Edison looked as if they should have been doing a little more conditioning this summer. IDK.

Huron looked very well coached, much more physical, which was disappointing, for norwalk fans. Defense seemed lost, and very soft. Offensive line play was not much better. I know it's just a scrimmage, but it was just a scrimmage for huron as well. They were so much more the aggressor. Norwalk running back only carried a couple of times if that. Not sure but it didn't matter. Truckers could be in for a long night vs mansfield.

Norwalk has 2 D1 recruits correct? if they couldn't muster much in this scrimmage with two d1 guys that is not a good sign maybe Huron might win more than the two games that calpreps has them winning.. i wouldn't get too bent out of shape over a scrimmage. a lot of things are run just so its on film and can break down a guys technique.. i would hope anyways norwalk doesn't spend the who season running sideline to sideline with that big guy at tackle... and spend more time running right off his blocking..
