I'll take Huron to cover THAT spread.

Have not seen Sandusky Play so far this year, so I question if they are truly one dimensional, or can they pass if they need too? This will obviously factor in on how teams will defend them including Huron. How is Sandusky's defense? If capable of playing solid man to man against Huron spread, then I can see this being a very long night for Huron. If Sandusky's secondary is a weakness, then Huron will move the ball as long as the QB has some time. Just some questions and thoughts I have regarding this game.

This will be a good game. I like the Tigers to pull this one out. This Sandusky team will not throw the ball neary as well as the past few years, while huron features an improved passing game. I look for the Tigers to have success through the air. The question is can they stop the stud RB from Sandusky. I think Hinckley and the boys are up for the challenge. I like the Tigers - 42-28
Go Tigers

I see Sandusky winning by a couple scores.

There sure are a lot of questions.
1. Can Huron D slow down that stud back? I say yes and no, they better hold him enough to score more points than he does.
2. Can Sandusky keep up with a spread offense that is capable of going down the field? Not sure, they are not the largest team, and I see a lot of two way players, with that said how long until they get tired. They may have good starters, but what about the 2nd string will they be able to play at a high level too.
3. Will Sandusky be able to consistently pass and make plays to open up the run game? After losing their star WR, this will be a big part in this game. Huron secondary as talked about is much improved and will have to bring their A game just like Sandusky.
4. Which defense is going to hit harder, longer, and stay relentless? I again go back to Sandusky overall team size and ask can the two way guys keep going in and out in and out and still be able to stay at a high level of intensity.
5. Can Franklin mix up the play calling to keep the Huron D honest? The passing game is crucial here, he can't sit and play ground and pound all night against a much better defense this week.
6. Will other guys on Sandusky step up and standout? Have too, if they want to win.
7. Will Huron not get caught up in all the hype of #4? Have too, if not it will be a long night for the Tigers.
This is going to be a great early game. My memory of Huron is close loss for the SBC title in 03, blow out in 04 and 05. A lot of tradition in Tiger Country. Can the new found success of Sandusky continue and pull one out. I would have to say I have Sandusky as the underdog in this one.
I'll be there Friday, just look for the shortest guy with a badge on his chest!!! Good luck to both teams.

Keep it up and people are going to start liking you. I knew you had in ya. I also think you might be right on this, you stop their running game you would stop them. I had heard that they don't have a passing game this year. Good luck to the Tigers this year.

Well, I hear Sandusky will be down several starters for the game but will still have the running back but I think Huron pulls it out.

Streak,
Any specific reason? Injuries, discipline, health??
That could be a potential big blow for them.

Sandusky up 21-7 at the half. SHS interception in the end zone with under a minute to go, next play Stewart takes it 80 yards for his 3rd TD of the half

#4 is a beast, but what really impressed was Sandusky defense. Huron had the ball deep on two separate kick off returns and got nothing from it in the first half. For some reason Huron thought the need to throw the ball 30 yards practically every play in the 2nd half when in the first the short routes were working. Also, 6 minutes in the 3rd and we go for on 4th and 10 at the 50? Oh well, good luck to Sandusky the rest of the season, they should do very well as long as #4 stays healthy. Man he has incredible bursts of speed.

What a game what a game.
ALOT of mental mistakes by Huron, especially at QB. Score could have and maybe should have been closer.
#4 like the kids say is the truth, though Huron did a pretty good job of containing him when they kept him running inside. What struck me as odd is obviously he is very very and I mean very dangerous when he takes the ball outside, but my question is, why didn’t the tigers tackle outside like they did inside.
I think we learned a lot about Sandusky tonight and I take nothing away from those boys they played well, but, they remind me of the Permian Panthers in Friday Night Lights. You lose Boobie, you lose the team. What worries me is no one so far has had to step up, and when they get down the big conference games and eventually playoff games, #4 is going to find himself not always getting the Eddie and meeting LB’s who are bigger and like to hit hard. Also I see #7 is suited up, but has a cast on his hand, arguably the most athletic kid on the team could be hampered to only defense when he is back... how Kong’s the cast gotta be on for?
Until that day comes though and when it does i think he will be up for the challenge, but will everybody else be??
Finally.... is it me or has the league gotten smaller, less physical and not as tough as it once was..?

From my expierence watching kids try to tackle Terion 1 on 1 is like trying to tackle a ghost. He has a suddenness to him to that makes it so hard.

Sandusky has a very fast player, And the Blue Streak defense had a great game. This game was closer than the score reflects, take away 2 big plays (runs by that fast player), And the 2 times Huron had 1st and goal, and came away with nothing, could've been interesting. Tigers were moving the ball well, on a short passing game, in the 1st half. Then they got away from that in the 2nd half, and hit the panic button. Started throwing it deep in double coverage (intercepted), Went for it on 4th and 10 on the 50 ?, Overall Huron did play Sandusky tough, Better than most of us thought they would do.

#4 is the heart beat of the team, but I have a feeling there’s a lot sandusky is capable of that we don’t see because they don’t need it. They’ve (mostly) been efficient passing the ball with their QB1. Id like to see more of a quick game next week
