Wynford at Buckeye Central - No contest here. Wynford.
Seneca East at Bucyrus - SE easily goes 4-0 as they fine tune for their showdown with Mohawk next week.
Upper Sandusky at Colonel Crawford - CC commits too many penalties, Upper can't take care of the ball. The one that improves the most wins. Close game so I'll go with CC at home.
Carey at Mohawk - The marquee matchup this week. These old MAL foes know each other well and I look for a tough knockdown, drag out fight. I'll go with Mohawk at home in this one as well, but anything could happen.

Thought it might be interesting to add a multi-selection poll to this, as someone did on an FC thread a couple weeks ago. You can pick 4 teams.
Records heading into conference play:
3-0 Mohawk 3-0 Seneca East 2-1 Carey 2-1 Colonel Crawford 2-1 Upper Sandusky 2-1 Wynford 1-2 Bucyrus 0-3 Buckeye Central

No surprises as far as results, but maybe a few surprise performances. CC totally dominates Upper. The Rams couldn't move the ball at all against CC until a drive and then a time expiring TD pass against CC's Jv's by the Ram's starting QB. CC looked much better offensively, cut way down on mistakes/penalties. Reports are that Mohawk vs. Carey was a tight, tie game until in the 3rd quarter when Mohawk got a lead and then Carey just kind of fell apart after that. Bucyrus hung with SE until the half, then SE woke up and put the lights out on Bucyrus. Wynford as expected over BC.

Bucyrus hanging around with SE was surprising. CC dominating Upper. Uppers two wins were over River Valley who will probably end up 1-9 and MG who may end up 0-10. Rams might get another win this year. Mohawks win margin was surprising. Impressive win.

The problem with Upper Sandusky's football program has been revealed today in an article published today in crawfordcountynow.com:
By BRIAN HEMMINGER Daily Chief-Union
NORTH ROBINSON — The last thing a football team with as many new players as Upper Sandusky has can afford to do is fall behind on repetitions, but with the Wyandot County Fair taking place this week, several key players missed practice time. The result was a one-sided 49-6 blowout loss to Colonel Crawford Friday night at Colonel Crawford High School to kick off Northern 10 Conference play.
“We struggled to prepare this week,” Upper Sandusky coach Russell Hall said. “The fair is a good thing, but today in walk-throughs is the only time we had our whole offense and defense there. You factor that in with injuries on top of that, we’re a young and inexperienced team with a lot of new players and we just really need those reps to get better. We were worried when it was offensive team day and we looked around and we actually couldn’t run offensive team in practice this week and we missed those reps and it showed.” “(Colonel Crawford) is a very well-coached team, a very talented team and it showed,” Hall said. “There¹s a lot of guys on this team with a ton of potential, but they’re sitting on 500 reps and the guys that they’re going against have been playing football since junior high and they’re sitting at 1,000 reps. We’re trying to do everything we can to catch these guys up.”
