I think the only question here is if Perkins scores or not.

Last year Norwalk had some key injuries, particularly Raymore. He played the first half with an injured ankle and left the game in the 3rd quarter if my memory serves me correctly. Perkins also had some injuries last week to key players. FB Jackson left the game with what I was told was some type of knee injury, haven't heard whether he will play or not. Sophomore QB Campbell injured his hand, but he has run the ball on 99% of his snaps anyway. If Jackson is out, that would be a huge blow to the Perkins defense as they need all the help they can get stopping Raymore. My gut tells me Norwalk will win this easily but then again I said Bellevue would win easily. I'm wondering if Zeigler finally let Crabtree call the plays last week, The play call selection seemed too complex, not OC Blakely's style.

Just got confirmation that both Perkins kids are a go this Friday at Norwalk. I know this might not change the outcome, but the Jackson kid is a beast and if they feed him the ball often and he gets on his game it could be a close one. Bad news 2 starting linemen out, concussion protocol.

There will be an SBC in the final four. Norwalk is prob the favorite, but if Tiffin, Sandusky or Clyde gets hot, any of them can do it.

Why does Bay get no respect? Has anybody even seen them play?

Nice to see the brain trust over here at Perkins are taking today's game so seriously. Perkins has three grass football fields at the high school that they can practice on, what did they do, you guessed it practice on the turf all week. To me as a player, that would tell me that the coaching staff were not even entertaining the thought that we could seriously compete in this game. Whitney field was a sloppy mess last Friday and I'm sure it's going to be slick at best this Friday.

Just to be fair. Norwalk faithful made it seem like the score would be 60-7.
Robinhood, great talent, just have to put it together.

Bird, I didn't see anyone out of line from Norwalk side to proclaim such lopsided score. I thought it would be closer than some from Perkins were guessing. At any rate, this win sealed a postseason berth for NHS, and sets up next week's showdown with Clyde

not sure how perkins is 2-6? thought they showed pretty good talent. Talent isn't the problem. Although the game plan (feed Jackson the ball) and the play calling was better than usual, especially given the conditions. But this was week 8, and the coaching staff are just getting the hang of things? They have to find a way to get Hunter the ball other than that same old Jet Sweep, teams sniffed that out 3 weeks ago. Their best WR Clinton only had limited touches again tonight. Jackson got the ball plenty tonight and did his damage, hopefully he is ok. . When they get down they do not comeback. Ziegler and OC Blakely kicking and throwing stuff at halftime does little to inspire the kids. We probably only get 1 or 2 games of football per year where they go out and actually play all 4 quarters. A lot of things wrong with this program, and it's not 100% on the coaches, some kids are to blame as well. The fans in the stands (mostly upset parents) have created at toxic atmosphere. The problems are many, and there is no 1 answer. Sad situation overall.

Not to throw gas on the fire too much, but I was intrigued Perkins burnt 2 quick timeouts to start the 2nd half, the first one which resulted in turnover on next play
