This is the 4th game of this renewed series, and first time Bellevue and Huron have met in week 1 since 2001. Bellevue leads the all time series 23-11.

Not sure what Bellevue has, but Huron has a new coach, plus they're small and young. I plan on being there.

Piratefan is correct, the Tigers are small and young. But, the Tigers are always small and many of theses young tiger cubs have a lot of game experience due to the tremendous injury problems of last year.
With that said, I'll still take the Redmen by at least a touchdown. Bellevue has had Huron's number, so to speak, for the last few years. The Redman's head coach is the difference.

I couldn't figure out; with the score of 38-3 at the half, And running clock rule for the entire 2nd half, Bellevue pulled it's backfield starters out with 4:51 left in the game, Then the rest of the starters with 2:50 left in the game. Fortunately none of the Redman players got injured over something that stupid. Bellevue does have an impressive band though.

Ed Nasonti This is how he's rolled for 20+ years now and he's certainly not about to change now.

Only thing I can think of as to why to starters were still in for the start of that last drive was because of the field position, and maybe he didn't want the reserves handling the ball in the shadow of their own goal post? Seemed like once they out past their own 20 was when they started subbing. But anyway, nice win to start the season Redmen....they took control right out the gate and never let go of it.

Anyone know what the grudge is Huron has against Bellevue that they wouldn't feed the team after the game?

No kicker for Bellevue, Didn't know there's suppose to be team feedings, provided by the home teams, after varsity games, When did they start doing that.

Green and Mark,
teams have been doing this for awhile now. Bellevue has fed both teams after the game for sometime so hardly that Bellevue is spoiled as we also take care of the opponent. I remember before sandusky joined the NOL and they scrimmaged at Bellevue the blue streaks players were fed even back then.

Those stats are hardly telling of this whole game though as Ray had over 100 yards rushing on two carries to start the game. I still stand by my observation that our run blocking specifically from receivers running backs and offensive line was average.
