Haskins has 4700 yards passing and has scored 51 tds. To me it's him or Kyler Murray.

Think it is very premature to have the deadline for submitting Heisman ballots prior to the conference championship games. This year, the Alabama QB had a rather poor performance, before leaving with an injury.
As the playoff committee liked to paraphrase, consider the entire body of work. Tua Tagavailova was heavily promoted by SEC supporters and ESPN, had a poor performance in their championship game with a 10-25 completions and two interceptions. On the other hand, both Haskins (499 yds.) and Kyler Murray (399 yds.) had spectacular games in the most important game of the year.
The Heisman is a campaign and very political in nature. The best athlete and the most deserving doesn't always win this award.

So, maybe Haskins has a better shot than originally thought.

For some reason 10% of voters had already cast their vote before Saturday though

Is Haskins being invited just because or does he actually have a chance? I heard during the BIG 10 Champ game the 10% of the votes had already been cast.

Sure sounds that 10% of the voters had their mind made up and for them, it didin't matter what transpired at the league championships. If I was casting a ballot, being this is a really tight decision between 3 worthy candidates, common sense says, in the name of objectivity, to watch all three in action during three very meaningful games.

Speaking of percentages, I wonder what percentage of Heisman voters work for, are connected to, affiliated, or are some way job dependent on eSECpn? It benefits them to have the winner playing in their invitational.

It benefits them to have the winner playing in their invitational. Very good question. I know there is a Big Ten Network panelist who has a vote. It is a given, there is a lot of politics surrounding the award. I had no idea how complex and formulated, the Heisman voting process entailed. This answers all questions and any mis-perceptions www.heisman.com/articles/heisman-balloting-how-it-works/

Hard to argue with what he did this year. To say the other two QB’s are unequivocally better, you sir can eat my shorts.
