You don’t get points for losses. That’s why teams want to play down not up.

Now that a game 90 minutes to our northeast has determined whether we'll be in, we turn our attention to a game 2.5 hours to our southwest that will determine who we will play

Yeah, apparently it was also a day game. Scorescream had it listed as 7pm, but is now also showing a 34-14 PT final.

Bellevue got the tougher team IMO but they are coming off a 38-0 drubbing so who knows how they will respond. I know nothing about Keystone except some on here say they are not that good. Their schedule isn't that impressive for sure.

ponitz tech of dayton beat thurgood marshall 34-14,sorry clyde and what hurt bellevue and clyde was toledo start was beaten by toledo woodward 28-14 which edison beat in week 5 and after that woodward was 4-0-1 and taking the toledo city league. and far as edison goes as far schedule,i know our schedule is not great, but we get the breaks at this time.if some of you want to complain check how many winning teams huron has beat its 0!!! other than oak harbor and norwalk,it was weak.at least edison beat huron and western reserve in game 3 and they havent lost since.and woodward has not lost since edison week 5.plus we got help yesterday from eastwood over rossford, orrville over triway, northwest played a 1 win team loudonville ,woodward over start and shelby over clearfork so we took advantage of the system.so those who complain about edison, stop being a yankee frontrunner and stop crying over spilled milk,i dont complain about your teams.

Wouldn't that be something. There was once a Bellevue-Perkins playoff game at Clyde and Clyde-Perkins playoff game at Bellevue, therefore any future Bellevue-Clyde playoff game should be held at Perkins to complete the triangle. That could potentially be the shortest stay for the Rt 20 ball ever🏈 Wish it would come true but I’d fear more of the same out come as Willard vs Bellevue 1999. Flashes won both. Redmen need to make some changes scheming the secondary or it will be a short playoff run.

as far as keystone they lost to d-3 bay, beat an improved cloverleaf, beat south central.in lorain county 8 league, only 2 other teams with winning records lorain clearview(8-2)and wellington(6-4)but neither made the playoffs.so i think keystone will lose to clyde, .

If Start beats Woodward then I think the order would be 5-Bellevue, 6-Clyde, 7-OG and 8-Edison. I think Edison would have an easier game against Keystone then Shelby so the Woodward win over Start actually hurt Edison for the 1st round (imo). I think Bellevue would rather play Wauseon than Shelby but that's not clear to me. I guess we'll find out how it shakes out on Saturday.

Some comments on Scorestream say there are reports that East Tech showed up to University School with only 10 players they can't play with 10 so i doubt that.. but they didnt have many in game one against huron...and we had to start running clock in the 2nd quarter and agree to use the end of our bench the entire second half..

I do not know if I am buying all the way into the WBL hype this year. By that I mean that I don't think OG is going to be a meat grinder for all who face them. Clyde, Galion, Bellevue, Shelby, and OG all faced steady competition throughout the year. In Shelby's instance, their last 6 opponents had a combined 40-20 record. The teams I mentioned all held their own against tough competition, with the rare blowout loss suffered. I don't have a pulse on who leaves the region, but I can't imagine I'll be stunned if it is any of the teams above (ok, Galion would be a shocker to me).

I would somewhat agree with you but the WBL is probably a better conference then the MOAC. OG is a solid team very good defense I think their scoring defense only allowed 14 ppg with the likes of St. Mary's 33.6 ppg, Kenton 31.5 ppg and Wapakoneta 28.1 and OG kept them under those avg. And OG three losses were to state ranked and playoff teams by a combined 13 pts. They should have beaten Kenton if it wasn't for a last second TD. I kinda seeing OG, Clyde, Bellevue as the favorites because of who they have played and being battle tested but the region is pretty even with each team having strengths and weaknesses

If we are comparing these MOAC teams to the WBL, I'm likely taking the WBL as the better conference in 7-8 of the past 10 years (just ballparking it). This year, the top four MOAC teams are a step behind the top four WBL teams...but it isn't by nearly as much as it could have been. OG is still a competent team. I am hypothesizing they beat Galion, but hopefully not like how Galion has been spanked by Kenton in other years.
