I got to watch the Norwalk Mansfield game after when it aired on WMFD. I have a feeling that these two teams will be fairly evenly matched athlete for athlete. I have a feeling Sandusky will be a more well rounded football team. Sandusky by less than 10

If Aaron was qb I would say streaks by 7 but what people don’t realize is the sophomore was starting on defense and I can’t see him playing both ways. Mansfield’s qb is really good and I worry about the passing defense. If Stewart has a monster game would be great but not sure it will be enough. Mansfield 28-21

I'll take Senior, 34-21. Gut feeling that Sandusky will struggle on O if Terion is bottled up.
Hope Sandusky wins, but my gut says Mansfield scored one late to make it a 13 point win.

Comparing the schedules I see nothing that would indicate this will be a close game. Mansfield by double figures.

For some odd reason, I feel fairly confident Sandusky will win.

Drew Pasteur has Sandusky by 3.

I think both teams have the “Out-Athlete” mentality of winning. It’s all gonna come down to what group can manage a game where the athletes are equally matched. How much of a distraction playing at Arlin Field could determine Sanduskys chances too.

A couple thoughts
1. You can’t make JJ Henry more experienced throwing the ball. What they need him to do is make accurate passes in the short/mid range passing game. It makes a world of difference when the WR is getting hit in stride versus having to adjust to a ball thrown ahead or behind them. That’s been a major issue for Sandusky.
2. Senior is strong upfront on the DL but I think Sandusky is better equipped to deal with it than Norwalk.
3. Sandusky is upperclassmen heavy and those kid’s have played a lot of big games against great competition over the last 3-4 years. They are unlikely to be phased by senior’s talent level or playing in Mansfield.

They are unlikely to be phased by senior’s talent level or playing in Mansfield. Mansfield is also loaded with seniors who have played at the varsity level for 3 and even 4 years now. I do not see the location as a factor, but I do feel that Mansfield has better talent. Sandusky wants to out athlete everyone but when the athletes are close to even, I have seen them be out talented.

This game is a tough one to call for me. Niether team seems to have had much for competition yet to say one is better at this or that than the other. I flipped a coin. Sandusky for the win.

Mansfield gets back their left tackle and defensive end from injuries sustained in the Norwalk game. Arlin Field should be rockin!!!

The more I think about this game the more I’m thinking that Sandusky has to pass the ball more than a handful of times to be competitive. Senior will be playing the run all night to take away #4. How can they structure the pass game for #11 to be efficient? Can he throw the deep ball against an athletic secondary? I don’t think running #4 30 times will be enough to win... they have to be more creative than that because Seniors D front is no joke.

MANSFIELD SENIOR -- The unbeaten Tygers (4-0) are in second in Division III, Region 10, trailing only Bay Village Bay (3-1). Mansfield Senior has a huge computer-points game at Arlin Field on Friday night against Sandusky (4-0), currently tied for fourth in the same region.
Mansfield's local news articles are hyping Mansfield Seniors defense. The Blue Streaks facebook page is saying this is one of the Marque games in the state so they are obviously expecting a slug fest. I'm thinking the battle royale is brewing here.
On a side note, Sandusky's roster shows 45 (?) on the team with 19 of them being seniors, is that accurate?

What they do need is Henry to be accurate and make good decisions. He does have a luxury that Aaron didn’t have last year and that’s a couple receivers who can go up and get it.
