Clyde won last year 36-22, and has won the past 3 games. Bellevue leads the all time series 27-14-3.

This is the game of the week. It's worth the drive to catch the game.
Besides who wants to drive to Streetsboro and watch the Tigers go 0-3.

Losing season last year. New coach. Being blown out in first game. Second game a little better but still a loss. About a 2 hour drive. H-team membership in toilet. Winning is the cure.

Gonna take in this game myself. I just hope it's not a blowout after the first quarter. Can the Redmen regroup and hang with Clyde? We'll see. Gotta be the best game this week.
On a side note. What's going on in Tiger town? Reading the posts on here, and talking with several of my friends from Huron, two of them who are parents of players, it seems like Huron has lost interest in football! Has the mighty "H" team fallen? Is Legando leaving the reason? Are the people in Huron simply "fair weather" fans who only support the team IF it's winning? I've been attending Perkins games for almost twenty years, and I'm proud to say, the Pirate fans are THERE every game, away games included. The stands were full, even when the team was struggling with many 4-6, 3-7 seasons. Can it be that the whole "Huron IS TIGER TOWN" is simply smoke and mirrors, like the Wizard in Oz? Where's the Tiger pride? You know, the team can get in the attitude that "if the fans don't care, why should we?" You DO NOT want that to happen. I personally know two young men on this team. They're great kids, PROUD to be playing for the Tigers, and they're already feeling this way. That will destroy a program. Whatever the problem, I hope the people in Huron will get out and support this team. I hate to see this happening. These young men play their hearts out, win or lose, and they deserve your support. But, as I said, the people I've talked to are a little worried. I normally wouldn't care, because I'm a diehard Pirate fan, but I'm pretty fond of a couple young men on this year's team, their parents are close friends, and I feel sorry for them. They still have a lot of Tiger pride, and they're wondering where everyone elses' went. C'mon, Huron, get out there and cheer for your team!
If what I said makes you angry......GOOD. Get angry enough to prove me wrong, and get out and support your team. They deserve it. Then, I'll be HAPPY to have been wrong.

I think I count 4 or 5 H team members back, chain gang back, SV back with the video gig, dshop still around, outside of that it is a complete turnover and the turnover is a new crop of huronites with zero huron background. its probably going to take a winning team to rejuice the power. feel bad for coach hohler because the support right now has left the building

Anytime I've been to a Huron game in recent years (even whenn they won the SBC four years in a row, they can NEVER fill the home stands. EVER

Would like to take in this game, But I am anxious to see Sam get that gatorade bath and his 1st win, And I believe the Tigers can do it. So, I am making the trip to Streetsboro.

I have not been impressed with Bellevue for a couple of years. Sure they have had the great player come through and they always look and present themselves well, however they have just been the best of a relatively down conference. I look for Clyde to win this one by double digits at a minimum. 38-14

Wow - look at all those years in a row Bellevue won.....
So, like, does this ball travel to the victorious school for a year, like others with this tradition do?
This is a pretty cool idea - and tradition.

I prefer "Clyde taking 5 of the last 6" Ryan Carter has never lost as a player or coach to Columbian or Bellevue. Impressive! I have great respect for Bellevue's players, fans and the coaches. I think the staff there is as good as any in NW Ohio and wouldn't be shocked if they win tonight. GO FLIERS!!

Gonna be Clyde, big. Bellevue couldn't stop Perkins from running the ball and I think Clyde's Sewell is a better runner. Bellevue's Bryce Ray didn't play much defense in 2nd half against Perkins, looked like cramps or some other leg issue. If Redmen lose him, their defense is in major trouble. Bellevues chance is to throw against Clydes weak DBs (excluding Long) but Foos isn't the best passer though. I think the Fliers overall size and physicality will be too much for the Redmen. 35-12 Clyde.
