Mansfield has enough trouble hosting a game when they're not in the playoffs, let alone if they are.

^^ Nice job! You pretty much aced it except for Elyria and maybe Lima. Did Willard not try for a game? I thought geographically they were perfect for 2 of them.

I heard Willard did not want to host on Friday due to the girls basketball season opening on the road. The Willard AD has a daughter on the team.

I’m of the opinion that Clyde gives an undeniable advantage to Sandusky. Half hour bus trip to a field that’s in their own conference. Am I reaching here? Certainly not complaining, just kinda surprised is all.

I’m of the opinion that Clyde gives an undeniable advantage to Sandusky. Half hour bus trip to a field that’s in their own conference. Am I reaching here? Certainly not complaining, just kinda surprised is all. Here is a counter-argument. A hypothetical. I have a 30 minute commute to work. My co-worker has a 10 minute commute to work. Is there going to be a measurable difference in productivity based on the difference in our commutes? What if that commute was for the biggest football game of our lives? Would we have an issue drumming up motivation to achieve the productivity we desire? What is it about a longer commute that can't be negated through a well-rehearsed warm-up routine? The Cleveland Cavaliers usually benefit by having the shortest cumulative amount of travel of any NBA team (a distinction they usually share with the Pacers and Pistons). In fact, I believe the Golden State Warriors usually have the farthest cumulative amount of travel for an NBA team. Can we confidently state how it impacts their productivity on the court? In track and field, the D2 Northwest region is held in Lexington. Does this benefit the Shelby runners who show up over the ones from Defiance? I doubt it. The Defiance runners will warm-up, stretch, and probably forget what field they are at when they are on that final curve of the 400M dash. Sure, it is nice that Shelby only travels a half hour, but what about the hour before they leave where the runners are laying on the couch at home? Hell, if we are talking travel times, Defiance/Kenton should never win anything in the WBL.

Certainly not complaining, just kinda surprised is all. It’s all about the money bigwill. Sandusky and Senior don’t travel particularly well but if you put this game in Clyde you’ll pull in a solid crowd with people from the area coming to watch. There really isn’t a natural in between point between the two with turf either. All this being said if I were Senior I’d be pretty unhappy over this.

There really isn’t a natural in between point between the two with turf either. There actually is one that's perfect (40 mins for Mansfield, 41 mins for Sandusky), but it was reported above that they declined to host this week.

Travel is what it is. I don't think the teams in this week really care how far they have to go.
