For this year the DII Girls district moves from Galion to Ashland HS since Galion moves up to DII. Sectionals are played at Monroeville and Plymouth.
Shelby 12-0 Bellevue 11-0 Willard 10-2 Perkins 7-2 Ontario 6-3 Lexington 4-5 Norwalk 4-8 Mansfield Sr 3-2 Clear Fork 3-9 Vermillion 1-8 Galion 0-10
Top heavy district with Bellevue, Shelby and Willard and then everyone else.

I could see Perkins giving Shelby and Willard a really good game.

at Plymouth #10 Vermilion vs winner of #1 Bellevue vs. #11 Galion # 4 Perkins vs. #5 Ontario at Monroeville #2 Shelby vs winner of #6 Lexington vs #9 Clear Fork #3 Willard vs winner of #8 Mansfield Senior vs #7 Norwalk I would be willing to bet that it'll be Bellevue vs. Perkins III and Shelby vs. Willard II at Ashland.

Pardon my ignorance, but I figured Bellevue in Monroeville and Shelby in Plymouth.
I wouldn't overlook Perkins.

Willard has had 3 losses this year. All 3 on the road vs Bell Shel and Marg. All 3 games Willard led and were right there in the 4th quarter.
Is this the year Willard has the "it" factor to get over the hump and win the District. Willard just beat a very worthy team who is as close to a powerhouse in Ohio as there is in Toledo Rogers.

They played this game last night with Willard coming out on top 48-42 over Rogers. Crawford had 22 for the Flashes.

a win like that over Rogers can do huge wonders. I agree with that statement. However, still do not believe they have enough to win their district.

However, being competitive against their losses on the road and beating Rogers tell me they have more than a fair shot on a neutral court. Time will tell.

I also agree with that and that is very true in most cases. Even on a bad shooting night with Bellevue in foul trouble I think they beat Willard. Actually that was the case in the first game and they still won. I think there will be some GREAT games in this district, however I just can't see anyone besides Bellevue and Napoleon playing for the regional finals. Time will tell.

Bellevue is on the war path, I truly believe they are going to run everyone off the court in the district. They are out to prove it. Will be an interesting district final

What’s wrong with Seneca East or buckeye central ?

Perkins and Willard (I think they'll beat Shelby this time) might have something to say about that. Can't let off the gas.

WLKR is broadcasting Boys Basketball from Willard HS tonight. Anyone know if the Shelby/Willard Girls Game will be broadcasted from Shelby side by chance? Not familiar with local radio stations that cover that area.

The girls tournament games at Shelby H.S. are on Thursday night, And Shelby plays Willard in Ashland, Also on Thursday night. That will likely be on WLKR 95.3. They normally won't have girls tournament games on the same night as boys, As the OHSAA continues to struggle with fan attendances.
