This season's already interesting with the non-conference play between schools that will soon indeed be conference rivals - Huron could make this season super-interesting with a win. I'm not seeing it, though, especially after the Pirates beat Bellevue. This game is always exciting, though.

It's not like Bellevue-Clyde was close, nor was Bellevue-Huron. Still, I see Clyde and PC fighting for the crown, or sharing it.

The Tiger has turned into a kitty cat. Everyone's entitled to a few years in the cellar to refresh the stable, and especially to shift into comfortability with a new regime.

Perkins had a few (quite a few, actually) down years. High school ball runs in cycles. The Tigers will be alright again.

Huron kids always find away to get themselves 'up' for a game against Perkins, And make it a tough game, But I don't see it happening this year, Hope I'm wrong. The last time Huron football had back to back losing seasons, 1965 went 4-5-1 and 1966 was 4-6, Had winning seasons on both sides of that, Last time Huron went 0-10 ? NEVER.

I figured as much - I look for them to right their own ship by next season, if not jump out and surprise everyone near the end of this one.

I know a family with three boys who are all great athletes, coming up through the Huron school system in the next few years.

huron will start the climb next year. not many in the 9th grade but whats there are good athletes. jr class has a couple good athletes and the sophomores we'll just hold our breath and hope. i see the climb in 2017 until then we'll take some lumps and keep trucking. glad to see though like so many they're not going to tomato sauce the schedule. perkins, sandusky, and likely bellevue remain on the slate next year.

Nice tribute to Munafo and Legando to start the night...........went downhill for Huron after that. Pirates were up 33-0 in the middle of the third quarter. Running clock til subs came in and the Tigers scored. This is the worst Tiger team I've seen in quite awhile. Gonna be a long season. Who will they beat? Can't believe it could be an 0-10 year. Huron stands were only about 1/3 full.
Final 33-13 Tiger JVs scored a couple meaningless TDs in mop up time.

Was a nice tribute. Perkins is a much better team now, than the one that played Sandusky. I'm convinced that Thursday night game was a fluke, I don't who would win if they played again. Perkins future is very bright. As for tonight' game, It was uglier than the score reflects for Huron. I saw some signs of frustration tonight by a few of the Huron players, by how things are going with the program, I'm glad we had a peaceful ending tonight, and nothing else happened.

I've heard they've struggled to respectably stock the home side with fans recently, even before these lean times. On-field product this year can't be helping.

I guess the demise of Perkins football was somewhat exaggerated by a few posters....
