It's smaller guards who are dominating in the NBA.. Trae young kemba walker kyrie Irving dame lillard none of these guys are physically imposing or crazy athlete's they are are cerebral and highly skilled but all these guards can get too rim and finish.. Everyone on this forum is laughable how out of touch y'all are with the game of basketball watch the game before you start critiquing players.. Because if you watch college nba you will see how the game is being played that a guard of Tahj size can play high major d1 ball just because he possess attributes of being able too extend the defense with his range and he can beat his man off the dribble one on one and create offense out of screen and roll.. If any guard can do that consistently you can play high major d1 ball facts

What is laughable is comparing a short high school player with ZERO DI offers to very good short NBA players. Short high school players with ZERO DI offers should be prioritizing other ways to get a college degree instead of thinking the way to become a productive member of society is playing DI basketball, when none of the 350 DI coaches want you.

Again all this Tahj Staveskie talk about what level he can play on is laughable first off yes everyone is entitled too there own opinion but the disrespect the kid receives on this forum is mind boggling.. Tahj is still in the midst of his season so how can you predict where he is going too end up.. I guess most of you are Nostradamus bc Tahj is not 35 where is career is solidfied and wrapped up.. His playing career has just begun so again we will see where the kid ends up I hope you all keep that same energy when he does decide where he is going I believe you said he could play Big 10 or Big East so dont blame others on here for posting where you think he can play when your casting a HUGE assertion of Power 5 conferences. Makes you look silly rywill is beyond silly

Again, we're a Rogers game away before we start to learn much of anything. It's that simple.

Out of curiosity, what are Ben and Jeff doing now? Ben graduated from Ashland University with an undergraduate degree in accounting ans also received his MBA. He is working at Ernst & Young in downtown Columbus. Jeff graduated from Georgia State, got a tryout with the G-League team from Milwaukee and is now playing professional basketball in Chile. Ben is a productive member of society, that was his goal. If Tahj doesn't stop listening to those like rywill, he is not on the right path.

WF I don't agree with many of your posts but you are dead on here. I'm a little late to this party(thread) as I just started reading it today and boy oh boy it's epic. One of the best ever. I feel bad for Tahj as he seems to be getting bad advice from somebody. I trust most DI basketball programs can evaluate talent. Go DII or whatever and get that free education!! Best move you'll ever make.

Again, we're a Rogers game away before we start to learn much of anything. It's that simple. Learn anything about what? Tahj? Kids already proven himself against good competition. Learn about Sandusky? Regardless of the Rogers game, you don’t get to 17-0 with an average margin of victory of 22ppg by accident either. Streaks are a good team. Rogers is potentially a great team with a ton of height and talent.

Doesn’t mean they are not a good team however that doesn’t change the statement above...

Also not Sanduskys fault Ashland, Clearview, and others are weaker than normal. Although Ashland did beat Norwalk. Lexington was a solid win. As was Glenville. Fact of the matter is, 17-0 is a nice feat. Teams in this area have dropped games they shouldn’t have. Sandusky hasn’t.

I enjoy that Lexington was a solid win even though they graduated 8 guys which 5 started and 6 & 7 were the first off the bench. I think they have done an incredible job this season.

94hoops no beyond silly everything I stated was facts.. You a hater along with@Willardfillmore whi doesn't know anything about basketball but get on a forum and offer opinions like your knowledgeable about basketball or know what's going on with basketball half of you never played basketball let alone went beyond high school basketball and compare Tahj too Ben haraway is silly.. Nobody is hating on Ben for being a productive member of society you act like Tahj can't go to college and get his degree and be an productive member of society I have a degree currently a productive member of society what is your point I'm not about too go back n forth with people who have no clue about basketball you all or entitled too your opinions and that's okay all the state about Tahj doing this or that it's his life not yours.. The kid is not going d2 he stated he is not even entertaining d2 so that's final move on and stop hating on his decision it his career.. All you state non basketball related facts break down the game nobody on this forum broke down Tahj game as the reason why he can't play high major until I get some real critiques about his game miss me with y'all silly comments and feelings about what he he should do.. He is not a d2 recruit that's what the kid stated so let him be !!!!! Stop hating

I mentioned he could play D1 and others have since echoed those sentiments. But he’s not going major D1. It’ll be low to mid major if he even gets that chance now. You do realize the recruiting period is pretty much finished? Most major universities have their 2020 and 2021 classes filled. He’s not going to the NBA. He may play overseas professionally, but going D2 isn’t going to hurt those aspirations. Ashland is a very nice basketball school. If he’s good enough for D1, he can go to Ashland and light it up and then try to transfer to D1. Tahj clearly has too many guys in his ear and I’ve noticed it at games as well. Sad, because 90% of the guys in his ear weren’t even great in HS themselves.

I think Langhurst didn't get his offer till very late into his senior year,,,I can't recall exactly. Dials, as we all know chose to walk on at OSU and was eventually given a one year scholly,,then offered another one year and chose to go to Akron for a full 3 year scholly.
I'm of the belief that if a kid is good enough, the offer will come. Patience may payoff,,,I hope so for the kids sake.
