I think this could be a classic. Shelby is the toughest place to play at in the conference, especially for Sandusky, as there has been some bad blood over the years at their place. Both teams have D1 prospect quarterbacks so it will come down to who out plays who and which team limits their turnovers. I would give Shelby the advantage on the O-line but I have been told that Shelby has struggled with tackling a bit which is not a good thing against sandusky running backs and receivers. The two sophmore running backs will be a key for Sandusky but I worry about them trying to fight for extra yards at times and fumbling. The game comes down to the kicker. 31-28 Sandusky.

Shelby has to be able to tackle in the open field. If Shelby can't contain the Sandusky athletes it could be a long night for them. Perkins has some decent athletes and Sandusky made them look like they were running in sand.
I think it comes down to mistakes/turnovers. If Sandusky plays a clean game I think they win.

Shelby Has struggled ever since the Madison Game if they can find that game film and execute like the did that night they will win. Sandusky is the real deal and will test the Shelby Defense all night. Home field is a nice advantage to have for this game. But I think that the Streaks will win this game in a close one
Sandusky 35 Shelby 31

If all the computer and AP rankings are accurate, this should be an outstanding game. Think Sandusky's overall speed will pose big problems for Shelby's LB and defensive backs so I look for the streaks to win this one -- maybe by 10 or more points. Score should be similar to last year, IMO.

I always believe home field matters most in close games and I think this could be one. But this early Sandusky may have played the tougher schedule to get to 4-0. I'll say the Streaks get this one on the road.

Usually Shelby seems to get off to slow starts, aside from the Lexington game. I think that will be the difference tonight, Sandusky will take the early lead but Shelby will make it interesting.
Sandusky 41 Shelby 35

I have absolutely no basis for this prediction and havent seen sandusky or shelby play in years, but I envision sandusky bringing 6 on D about every play and locking up straight man.

Cant anyone comment on what worked and what didnt for the whippets or maybe what shelby needed to do to play with the streaks? Sandusky play well in secondary?

Shelby didn't have the size or speed tonight. It's really that simple. Sandusky has executed very well all night long on both sides of the ball.
