Bellevue won last year 12-7. Sandusky leads the all-time series 25-5-1 (Bellevue leads 4-1 in NOL play)

This game can't get here quick enough... "Can't wait!" In my best Bart Scott voice. This game should be a dandy. Admittedly, I know very little about Bellevue this year except that they are obviously very good. Foos is a terrific player. The question for Bellevue is, can they match all the speed that will be put on that field? Can they match the size of the Streaks? The question for Sandusky is, if Bellevue can match and neutralize that, how do you counter? IMO, and I'm sure many others, this game is the NOL title game.

As a Perkins fan, I've seen both the Streaks and the Redmen. IMHO, Streaks by two TDs.

If they stay focused and smart, Sandusky goes undefeated.

Bellevue will try to win this game on the ground. Work the clock, move the chains, and keep the Sandusky O off the field.
For Sandusky....limit the mistakes and don't turn the ball over. Very few teams in this area (if any) can match the speed of Sandusky. Bellevue will have to win this game at the line of scrimmage.

Anything can happen. Injuries can really hurt teams. Nobody thought Bellevue would completely dominate Clyde. I think Bellevue wins this game. Nasonti will have a solid game plan, as he always does, and he'll slow down that speed.

I was at the Bellevue / Clyde game ...Clyde had too many turnovers and the redmen executed on them...seemed like Clyde put there heads down but came back and gave Perkins a spanking.. Not seeing Sandusky play yet so we are taking this one in...This will be he Streaks yr against the Redmen 35-12

I've seen both, Both teams have size on the lines, Bellevue has more skilled position players, Sandusky does have team speed, Gonna be a toss up, Whomever has the ball last wins. I think Bellevue wins a close game.

Bellevue has more skilled position players? I am not sure I agree with that. Sandusky has 3 solid wide receivers and a solid qb. I would give the edge to Bellevue with the running back and McPeek is good. It should be a close game that will come down to coaching which Bellevue has the edge.

Sandusky- 42 Bellevue- 14
Sandusky so far has been and will continue to be the team to beat in this area. From what I have seen they have some studs on the team and Coach Franklin is getting those boys the ball and letting them make plays. The true test will come playoffs when TCC comes into play on their schedule.

Bellevue W1: W 38-3 A Huron W2: L 30-34 H Sandusky Perkins W3: W 66-22 H Clyde W4: W 48-0 A Toledo Rogers W5: W 48-14 H Tiffin Columbian
Sandusky W1: W 31-13 A Sandusky Perkins W2: W 27-16 A Huron W3: W 40-8 H Fremont Ross W4: W 64-12 A Willard W5: W 42-21 A Shelby
Kinda tough to predict the outcome of this game from the schedule each team has played thus far. Plus, the forecast (which changes every 10 minutes) is calling for 70% chance of rain at game time and temp only 61 degrees.

Sandusky has speed everywhere. QB, WR, and two sophomore backs who are quick and can take it the distance. I don't think anyone in this area has close to the caliber of skilled position players Sandusky has.
There's a formula for Bellevue to win. Dominate line of scrimmage, control clock, don't turn ball over.

For Sandusky, I look back at the Huron game. Mistakes, mistakes, and more mistakes. This kept a bad Huron team in the game somewhat. If that happens against a good team you're probably going to lose.

There's a formula for Bellevue to win. Dominate line of scrimmage, Not likely to happen... Nasonti needs a similar gameplan to the one he used vs clyde. Spread things out with Foos by himself in the backfield most of the game. Widen splits and let Alec find the crease and throw the ball around. Love Ray as our TB but imo bryce only getting 3 carries vs clyde was brilliant against a tough flier d-front Its also games like this u like to throw in a wrinkle or two u havent shown on film.

Weather outlook doesn't look good for Friday, which means passing game maybe limited a bit, gives Bellevue an advantage. Also, not sure if Sandusky will have their starting running back for the game as he already missed game at Shelby.

Weather outlook doesn't look good for Friday That's been a common theme when these 2 teams play. I remember sitting in the rain for the 2012 game and not going to the 2014 game due to the rain....and then of course there was last year's game with the crazy wind that was a pretty big factor, especially on punts and kickoffs. As of right now TWC hour by hour has it as a 90% chance of rain at kickoff and 75% for 8:00 & 9:00

It will likely be a ground game and defensive battle.
Sandusky losing their passing attack would be huge for Bellevue.
Outside of that, I'm not a big believer that rain neutralizes speed. If you're faster on dry land, you'll be faster on wet land.
With that said, if the weather limits sanduskys aerial attack, Bellevue may be able to come in and steal this one.
Hoping for a great game tonight.

Nasonti gets to see how the Streak defended Shelby's spread attack the week prior, Nasonti destroyed Clyde which he got the Clyde V. Ashland film the week before showing Nasonti how Clyde defended spread. --Just some food for thought.

As good as Sandusky looked last week vs Shelby, and as good as I think they are...you can't bet against Nasonti. He always seems to find a way to win the big conference games. If Bellevue wins, they control their own destiny in the final year of the NOL...my money is on Nasonti in a close game. He will find a way...
