Most of the local media pundits are saying that the N10 is Carey's to lose. I agree. Lot's of three year starters back from a very good 8-2 team last year. For the rest, my thoughts are as follows:
As is usual in the N10 there will be a pack of several pretty evenly matched teams battling for second place, WYN, CC, SE, and MO. Trying to stay out of the basement will be UPP, BUC, and BC. Although an improved Upper, could be a surprise. They may be able to break into that middle pack.

I am not going to make any predictions but don’t count out Bucyrus. They will not win the league but they aren’t a bottom team. They have the best QB and collection of skill positions in the conference.

Bucyrus did not had a QB receive any honors.

The "best QB in the conference". How many games did Bucyrus win last year with this QB? He was a freshman QB last year and won two games. He came in with virtually no offseason due to Covid-19 and ended up breaking the school record as a freshman for most passing yards in a game and threw for over 400 in that game. He is the best passing QB in the conference and the stats will show that at the end of the season.

The Bucyrus QB was not the best QB in the conference last year, and is not the best returning QB this year if you want to go by stats from last year. Congrats for the school record as a freshman, but it means nothing when comparing QB's from different schools. Six of the top ten QB's in the N10 from last year return. They will all have a chance to be the best passing QB in the conference, this year, at the end of the season. Hargis SE, Lonsway CA, Bayless BUC, Snyder MO, Holman and Isles UPP. I said that he will end this season as the top QB in the conference. That’s all. Carey is going to be run heavy and Seneca East will be balanced.

The real question…does he have a line to protect him? And does he have a defense to support him? If yes, he may end up being the best QB by the end of the season

Calling a QB "best in league" won't happen unless wins come with it. Like at least 7-3

Calling a QB "best in league" won't happen unless wins come with it. Like at least 7-3 Not always true. Back when I played (with leather helmets), we had a first team all NOL QB on a 5 and 5 team. Wins certainly help, but a QB who carries his team and gives opposing coaches fits certainly can be the best in the league.

When you played with leather helmets, the QB pretty much just handed off to the running backs. OR in the single wing the QB was like a 3rd guard and lead sweeps and off tackle plays, never throwing a pass.

After re-reading, you are correct, you did not say that exactly. My bad. Hope he leads his team to more wins instead of more records and stats this year.

Lucas 38 Wynford 7 Final
That's gotta feel great for Lucas fans.....a little payback for all those beatings in the NCC, then getting left high and dry.

So Lucas beat Wynford 38-7 then Wynford beats Bucyrus 72-20. How bad is it when you let an average team score 72. When does Bucyrus wave the white flag and merge into Wynford? Just kidding. Wouldn’t want to offend the Redmen pride.

I get when there’s a new season with new hope with every team that people get excited for the team they root for but sometimes you have to step back from the kool-aid.
