This will be the 2nd ever meeting between these 2 teams. SE won 42-14 in 2019.

The real question is... who does willard open boys basketball season with.
They need to get New London on the schedule if they get back to 11 man.
Where is Drug Mart when ya need him

I put Willard on the same level as Fostoria so I’m guessing it’ll be about the same result as the SE and Fostoria game.

Probably the best team Willard has played to date. Good luck flashes.

The best part of this game for Willard is that it's a short drive.

Flashes trying a new tactic. Almost the entire team was sent home today for quarantine.

As the saying goes, “if you can’t beat ‘em, quarantine them”

this game still on?
I'll assume the white flags will come out on the Willard side in the 2nd quarter.
SE will name their score...
when is basketball season?

Doubt they will play.
Flashes for some reason having school without masks and amazed that the football team and the golf team have been hit and quarantined with Covid

Flashes for some reason having school without masks and amazed that the football team and the golf team have been hit and quarantined with Covid Football team is not quarantined. Boys are testing every morning before school, if they test negative they go to school and practice, if positive the individual is quarantined. As of now, game is still on.

I’m not going to get into semantics because I like giving dude some posts to randomly like, but pretty much the whole team was sent home besides a couple of kids that actually got the vaccine and it seems pretty iffy the game will go on.
I hope it does I’m helping sponsor the darn thing because once again it is a fantastic military/veterans appreciation night. I also would like to go check out the new cool home bleachers.
Willard seems like a debacle right now and a couple of the sacrificial lamb teachers they had administering the Covid tests come down with Covid themselves, I think the people that put them in that position should be the ones giving the tests.

The good news if the game is still played is that at least they won’t have to practice all week before taking the L. Also, those bleachers must be spectacular.

I'll say this, Ritz really has it going on in Willard. The faster they get rid of that dude, the better. Although, if Tiffin's struggles to find a Super who wasn't morally bankrupt or a criminal are any indication of the applicant pool out there, maybe they are better off with Ritz then. Anyway, it would be nice to see Willard become competitive again, and its nice to see the upgrades to their facilities.

Hello, anybody there? I told you that we, the Top Brass of Willard decided to kill off the football program over 15 years ago. It didn't take very long to kill it and it's been dead for a decade now. I don't know who keeps going to its' grave and digging it up every year and sticking it back out on the Soccer Field, but whomever it is needs to stop. Willard is a soccer town now. I better not see a football program in 2022 or I'll have to unleash the Zelda variant.
The Soccer team is patiently waiting for the rest of their teammates that were tricked into playing football this fall. A woman has to be behind this grave digging as women love to sabotage a good thing (Soccer = good thing, Football = bad idea). Soccer is where it's at, football was a sport for the 20th Century.

Typical the school entry check points are 4-5 questions and a temperature scan. Anyone can do it.

Do people actually think teachers were shoving swabs up kids noses?
And if they actually are, that’s a different conversation.

Covid test to me is swabbing the nose, not just a temp check. I hope you are right though, because I don't see it as proper to have the teachers swabbing the kids noses. Usually, you do it yourself with the rapid tests

Let me clarify, apologies if I was vague. The student or a parent will do the actual swab with a couple of authorized teachers in the same area/room with them. The teachers will verify and read the results and either kick the kids out or let them stay.
Both of those initial administrators/teachers came down with Covid and were replaced with another two.

If played, I think this game will be very telling. I certainly don't expect a victory, but would like to see the Flashes a little more competetive for a little longer in the game.....maybe a 2 TD game at halftime. I understand Speller is trying to build a "program", but that shouldn't mean you write off being competetive today at the expense of getting underclassmen ready for next year or the year after. We do have some pretty skilled underclassmen, don't get me wrong, but we should be playing kids at positions that give us the best chance of winning today....not next year or the year after. IMO, we are not doing that.

Drawing the conclusion that a fan questions why our Senior 2nd string QB from last year (at 6'4", athletic, and a strong arm) is playing WR....when WR is a position we are fairly deep at....this is 1 reason why Willard loses? You are an idiot.

Crimson5, who is playing QB? I thought Cole was the starter? I didn’t realize someone else was playing until you just posted that.
