This weeks big surprise winner is Perkins over Port Clinton. PC playing the role of Santa Claus this week gave plenty of gifts to Perkins
big disappointment? Edison getting shut out by Western Reserve? WTF Chargers?

i was surprised that we got shut out by western reserve.but our problem is western stuffed it down our throats running playing our game. it was obvious that western had time of possesion.the defense even though only gave up 14 points cant stop western on 3rd and 4th downs.plus we turned the ball over in deep in the red zone like in the second quarter with 6:28 remaining Edison qb Thomas Simon threw to Logan Lloyd who bobbled the ball before it wend through the end zone and out of bounce but the officials overturned the decision and called it a a completion and a fumblethrough the endzone and out of bounce a big turnover and withabout 6minutes left in game edison was at westerns 10 but failed on 4th an 4 after 2 incompletions. edison definitely overrated as far as preseason picked for 2nd in media poll, i dont feel edison wont beat norwalk, port clinton, oak harbor and huron and we be favored against woodward, vermilion and willard, wont get much computer points from them. i think my team will end up 4-6 and out of playoffs unless coach hall gets more balance offense, stop turnovers and get defense to stop drives,

I agree about Edison I think they will have a tough way to go against Norwalk. Shutout against WR and only 14 points in the last two weeks.
I was at the PC-Perkins game and I was very surprised after watching what I did. That Perkins team clearly wasn’t the same team that let up 68 to EC. Honestly it shouldn’t have been that close. With all of PCs turnovers and lack of stopping Nemitz plus Perkins gave them 6 right away with the pick 6. The safety in my opinion shouldn’t have been as I thought the defender hit him at the 2 and threw him back into the end zone. Also Perkins could’ve scored at the end but took the knee for good sportsmanship as the game was over and in their favor.
If Perkins can improve each week they will be a tough out at the end of the season.

I don’t think there really is a major surprise or disappointment. Norwalk 0-3 is debatable, but that’s a tough first 3 games. Perkins at 2-1 is a pleasant surprise due to struggling the past few years. Hopewell and Gibsonburg look like they are on course for a 9-0 showdown week 10

Im surprised that Norwalk looked decent in a loss to OF, after looking horrible in week 1 and 2. Huron shutting them out if very disappointing, as i don;t see Huron as a real good football team this year, welll coached but just not that good.
