Nah Franklin, Campbell and Fickel are the most likely canisates former UT and current ISU Cyclone Campbell? If so, no thanks. I'm cool with other 2. And definitely cool with Meyer

Many said he'd never go to the NFL either. I did read, whether accurate or not, that he is not happy in Jax.

I knew he would not be happy in Jax. He should be smart enough to know that just because he drafted Lawrence it would not help a 1-15 team. Urban is not happy unless he's winning.

Nah Franklin, Campbell and Fickel are the most likely canisates I hope not Fickel... I like the guy and him going to USC - while a next level coaching job - just has the wrong feeling to it. I would rather see him absorb another position in the midwest somewhere when he leaves Cincy...

I would rather see him absorb another position in the midwest somewhere when he leaves Cincy... It makes sense based on USC AD hired Luke at Cincy, but Fickel really has no ties to SoCal. Midwest job makes more sense for him, or just stay at Cincy now that they are becoming a power 5 school

At this time there isn't a better job in the midwest than Cincy. Unless Ohio State or Notre Dame comes open, assuming there will soon be a playoff expansion. He does seem to be more of a midwest guy than a left coast guy.

John Wooden is from Indiana, that’s not Midwest? Something tells me Willi Vanilli is going to bust out ancestry.com to bring us up to speed on John Wooden.

John Wooden is from Indiana, that’s not Midwest? Just because you were born in the Midwest doesn't automatically make you true.

So what are the unwritten credentials to be a true Midwesterner?

You have to have 5hit on the outside of your boots, not the inside.

So what are the unwritten credentials to be a true Midwesterner? You think Woody would ever coach on the Left Coast? Or Bo?
