What will Galion, Fairbanks be like? Isn't Rayburn NU just a Sr. now? How are they looking? Pleasant will have Craycraft, Craycraft and if Husted goes out will help alot? They should be pretty good? RV not much?
Without knowing who is actually playing, And what good younger Players coming up. MH, BV, Pl, JA in that order at top, I say. I say Will be, just about like Football. No Really Good teams, but the top 3-5 teams in the League could battle in the League. And get on a roll come Tourney time.

Williard Fillmore I'm not sure he's in preps top 250. He will probably go d3 like Hempy and longstreth did. He's a great shooter and he can get to the rack and play some defense. He plays for all Ohio red for aau and he was one of there top players so he's pretty good. Moac rather weak this year in basketball. Nu won't do much but Rayburn is pretty solid for them.

Starner, Keller and Jefferson possibly not playing bball. Looks like some pups will need to step it up. HHS will become a one man band with Ellis. Outside of Sayre they will not have any help to put points on the board. Starner is getting some serious looks from MAC size D1 schools for football so that might be pushing him away from BBall. I believe Jefferson has decided to play. Facione plus several others who played mostly JV and a little varsity last year are not playing.

Browleys a solid player, if booker plays then they'll be fine. Give them some depth.

Quite honestly if you are a coach do you want kids who say "i'm not going out" regardless of what the reason is? If you are not 100% committed by 10th grade move on would be my response. Now I do see many guys who are never going to be the "stud" on a team but they can still be 100% committed to playing hard and getting better and winning some games.

League will be way down. Ellis,Koenig,Craycraft, and Wallace will be the studs of the league. I'll go with Ellis as MVP of league and others as 1st teamers. I'd guess Rayburn would be my 5th but don't think he's improved since MS.

Scooter I agree. And that's what the coach wa saying too. He doesn't want someone who isn't committed.

Most teams that compete for League Titles rarely have more than 2 "studs". To have a good TEAM it takes commitments from another 6-8 players willing to work in the off season, develop their skills, be good practice players and role players. It seems there are fewer of those kids these days.

If Harding is missing 2-3 of their potential starters this season it will surely make a difference in the conference outcome.

Booker is playing he'll be a good replacement for one of them, Harding only missing 2 and 1 didn't score much. They should be fine. Some solid underclass man coming up.

booker is good but loosing 2 seniors Keller played great defense and Brice was a good all around player with nice size and a little cocky it's to bad to loose 2 kids who have started for 2 years both have issues with the coach but not to play your senior year is a shame the other boys r going to have to step up

Keller was probably their best defender. I'm sure he'll be missed. I guess I don't see Booker in the same light as you. He tries to do too much sometimes and disregards game plan. It got him pulled from a couple football games this year.

Yeah, worstall won't let that happen tho if anyone knows him knows his teams are well disciplined. Looking for booker to be tough inside and a hustle player. Keller was the hustle player before and yes probably best defender. Starner only hurts on offense as he created space. It'll be interesting to see how it works out.

You make great points. Looking forward to the season and seeing a couple underclassmen I've been hearing about.

They only participated in the MOAC for football. The red division is only 7 for all other sports from what I have been made to understand.

That is correct. Fairbanks is out of the league. Too bad Brice not playing. Watched him play every year since his 6th grade year for Ridgedale. If booker is the left handed kid he's not a bad player. I know BV is playing a couple more city teams this year than they normally do, but still only have I think 18 games on schedule because FB moved out.

Left hand Kid is browley, he'll be varsity this year he got a little time last year. He's good. Booker is kinda like him but right handed and more athletic and maybe an inch taller.

Are you talking about the same kid that I saw at pleasant last year... hustle player? He didn't play JV last year only Freshman ball. I think he is talented but I don't see him as a varsity difference maker. Maybe I will be proved wrong.

Booker didn't play basketball last year I don't believe. Yes that would be when he was a freshman. I don't think he played. But they've gotten him to go out this year.

Oops my fault. Hopefully he's gotten better, he's grown a couple inches and looks bigger. We'll see come December.

Husted Sr. from Pleasant, was starting 2 years ago. Didn't play last year. If he plays, he makes Pleasant stronger with the Craycrafts, Wood and Youth.

Scrimmages should be starting. Any news? I believe Galion has a scrimmage with Wynford tomorrow and a scrimmage with Bellevue and Lexington on Friday. They may be able to somewhat compete with Wynford tomorrow but I do not look for Friday to be competitive at all. I'll post results when I find out. But I expect Galion to finish last in the conference this year. Only winnable conference games I see are the NU games but I would favor NU. Hopefully I am wrong but it does not look good.

Don't forget, Lexington is still in the football playoffs and have kids that play both sports as Wynford does.
