We to stupid to make change anymore!! This is a textbook knee-jerk reaction. On the rare occasion that one does not have a smartphone, you could get on a computer and buy and print off your ticket with a barcode to get you into the game. And if both these aren't readily available, then hit up a family member or neighbor and have them help you out. If you want to go to a game bad enough, you will find a way.

Judging their posting history that is sadly one of their calmer posts. I read a couple of them before I had to stop.

We to stupid to make change anymore!! Not sure if you should be calling anyone else stupid. I don't believe He or She (I'm trying to be politically correct) Is referring to any of us being Stupid. I think, He or She is saying, What we've known all along, The OHSAA is Stupid, For having any team with a losing record in the Playoffs, That means 4-6 and most likely 5-5, You're Out, Pereud. It is strictly a cash grab, To make up for the lost Chinese Virus year, At the expense of the Athlete-Students health. Just like last year's Bullpoop playoff system.

You know ever one don't have a smart phone!! Just another stupid OHSAA idea!! Just like making 16 teams in each region in, what is there 70 some teams with losing records in playoffs, what a joke. We to stupid to make change anymore!! You should know people have desk top computers, laptops, I-pads, I-pad minis, Amazon Fires, and kindles. You should know that if someone does not have one of the many pieces of equipment that can be used, then 99% of them know someone who does and they can help them. You should know that if in that 1% that has no way of buying tickets online, that an exception can be made. You should know that during the pandemic, wrongly or rightly, this began as a safety measure. You should know that in that one year process, it was realized how much simpler and safer doing it on line was. You should know it's not just the OHSAA. Many schools and soon to be all, during the regular season, have begun to do the same at every game/contest. Due to it being much easier and safer. Safer by no longer having a visible cash box with a lot money it, easy to stolen or at the least an encouragement for someone to contemplate. ALSO, not having cash to count after a game eliminates the possibility of some of it being pocketed. I know of several cases when this has happened. You should know that a lot fewer people, who are paid, are needed to sell tickets on line. At football and boys basketball games I attend on a regular basis, there were 5 to 6 people working to due the job. You should know that now all that's needed is one AND with that one person it goes faster then when there were 5. You should know "making change" is a time consuming process compared to a simple scan. You should know that using debit or credit cards is a VERY common way of making purchases and almost the exact same process for buying tickets on line. In my case, using cash to buy tickets for high school sporting events, was the one of the rare transactions in which I did not use a credit or debit card. Whiners are not happy unless they're whining, regardless of how silly. Even the whiners will be brought into 20th Century kicking, screaming and whining.

You should know, Not everyone can plan in advance if they're able to attend that night's games. Or have access to the technology to print out those tickets by 6pm, and kickoff is at 7. All venues should expect there to be people that want in, But do not have in hand a pre printed ticket. I'm one of those that don't have all that computer crap to print tickets, Or if I'm able to go to LaGrange on Friday night. I guess I'm one of the 1% That needs only 1 person to be inconvenienced to do manual labor in the ticket booth, I do appreciate that 1 Volunteer. Edison had 2 people working the concession sales, And 10 making popcorn I appreciate all 12 of those Volunteers.

You obviously have the capability if typing on this site. You don't have to print tickets, they can be read digitally. "Planning in advance" is no different. The only time limitation is if the game is sold out. You can digitally "purchase" your ticket while standing in line at the game site. Some schools have volunteers making popcorn, some pay them. However, all people doing anything with tickets are paid.
