Have these two teams ever played before?

^Nope. Clyde can't turn the ball over 5 times like they did last week. They really pushed St Francis around in the trenches.

Traditionally Holy Name is a much better program than St Francis. Clyde might have their hands full.

St. Francis was the standard for quite awhile in Toledo and NW Ohio. Also, gave a great McKinley team led by Doss all kinds of fits in 97. Tale of tape Holy Name 10-7 in 8 Playoff appearances. 1975 AA State Champs St Francis 19-15 in 17 Playoff Appearances, 1984 Division I State Champs, 2001 Division II State Champs, 1982 Division II State Runner-uo

Clyde has a chance to go 2-0 versus the Catholic Church this year. Let’s just hope Clyde brings their A game against the Bible readers.

Why do I keep underestimating Clyde?! They are a well coached disciplined team who will reach their ceiling whether it’s a 6-4 season or 15-0 season. Great job Fliers!

I think people put too much emphasis on Clyde's performance in scrimmages. I can't remember when Clyde ever looked good in them 😆 . Yes they lost starters but the JV and other lower classes are usually very solid. Throw in great coaching and they will be competitive.
