Agreed with mcm. Who do you think should have gotten it? Demar? or Green?
I'll put the stats here.
PPG Beaston 20.3 Moore 15.4 Green 18.6 3 2 FT % LB 39 56 86 Moore 23 48 63 DG 31 54 81 Reb Beaston 7.1 Moore 5.5 Green 4.7 Asst 4.5, 7.4, 1.7 Asst to TO ratio Beaston was better than Moore Steals 1.5, 3.4, 3.3
I think it's fair to say Beaston has the better stats, especially stats people look at when voting on these things. It would be different if his team finished in the bottom portion of the league. They were 2nd. I also think it's fair to say that you should/would vote for one of the Sandusky kids because they won the league, even though their stats weren't as good. I also think it's fair that you would say it's possible that the Sandusky kids got hurt because coaches split their votes.
The only thing it's not fair to say is that it's political.

Had to be politically correct and get get two people from each school with accolades except Vermilion. Nothing against the Bellevue second team kid but he he should not be there ahead of henlon. If you ask any head coach in Ohio to start a team next year, henlon would of been picked ahead of him. I don’t care he is only a sophmore. You could argue that Sandusky has 2 first teams and 2 second team kids based on overall statistics. You vote for my kid, I vote for your kid instead of who is most deserving. Same BS every year. Henlon top 5 in sbc in assists, steals, and number one in assist/turnover ratio, and averaged 4 points higher a game. Sandusky gets dinged for their style of play, which produces stat sheet stuffers. Smh

So it's shame how political that the coaches got the next to last guy on 2nd team mixed up with the first guy on HM.
Here are the truths. Sandusky got 4 all league award winners, everyone else got 3, 2 or 1. Sandusky got 2 first team award winners, everyone else got 1 or 0. Take off your blue and white glasses and you will see these lists look accurate.

Is this the 9th or 10th year in a row that league coaches have conspired to specifically screw over the Sandusky kids? I've lost count.

Seen it from a fans and coaches perspective for many years Ok, I'll bite. Do you believe league coaches are political in general? Or just when it comes to Sandusky kids?

You're right. And you're right. Sandusky should have a 4th averaging 11 ppg should get the HM award before Norwalk's 3rd averaging 11ppg. But if that is your main argument, man is it a weak one.

I thought his argument was any coach in the State would start his team NEXT season with the Sandusky HM kid over the Bellevue 2nd team kid? And because of that, league coaches are political when it comes to voting on Sandusky kids.

Well, they didn’t base the vote on statistics, so someone provide a reason why he was deserving to be on 2nd team. Junior vs sophomore?

Sandusky coaches this season are giving stat averages to try and promote their kids over others for similar awards. This is pretty typical. But when you look deeper into the Sandusky stats, they have won 10 games by over 20 points and another 3 games by over 10 points but yet they have only 8 players who have seen 13 games or more. This means they still keep their starters on the floor during 20 point wins. Of the 15 kids that have stats for Sandusky, 7 of them have seen action in single digit games even though in 13 games they won by double digits.
