This is the 118th meeting in what is Ohio's 2nd oldest rivalry. Sandusky leads the all time series 58-51-8. Fremont won last year 42-21.

Ross is terrible this year. Sandusky might put a running clock on them.

Sandusky will have to refocus after a heartbreaker. Dont think it goes running clock but favor the blue streaks especially being at home.

Streaks get a big much needed win in the rivalry game

I'm afraid Sandusky gets this one. Prove me wrong, Little Giants!

I think Pogali rallies the troops and get the streaks their first win this Friday.

Ross is terrible this year. Sandusky might put a running clock on them. if Ross doesn't nab this one, a win may not happen until Week 9 against Waite. After Perrysburg, Whitmer, and Findlay, Ross will be worn down that Napoleon isn't a sure bet

Old Sandusky boy here (emphasis on old) and the feeling that I keep coming back to is whether the Poggiali system has been established enough by year two. The Streaks have also been a notoriously bad kicking team over the years with below average punters and placekickers. I haven't been to a game at Strobel since before the pandemic so maybe things have changed. If these two teams are otherwise evenly matched mistakes and the kicking game will determine the outcome. If that holds true I have to take Ross.
In the GBC days I watched Sandusky absolutely tear up the field from 20 yl to 20 yl only to come up empty. Findlay had great placekickers and punters and had the Streaks behind the 8-ball in terms of field position the entire game.
It seems as though the QB edge goes to Ross so perhaps they won't make as many mistakes as Sandusky. OTOH, in recent years I've seen some uncharacteristic things from Ross like lacking team speed defensively and being out-toughed.
I hope that it's a good game and everyone stays healthy.

Sandusky won’t be able to get out of their own way tonight. Too many penalties. Too many mental errors. On offense it seems like they have to rely on the big play. On defense they haven’t been able to stop a nose bleed in years. They didn’t even trust their kicking game enough to kick a PAT at the end of the game last week. Love the Streaks but they’ll need to make some serious improvements to even be relevant.

Ross hangs on to win 21-15. Modest 3 game winning streak in this Series for the Little Giants

Didn't want to travel to Elyria, so I took in the Sandusky/Fremont game. Streaks have some serious work to do. I was surprised. Fremont pretty much man handled them.

The score was 21-15 and Sandusky had their chances to win the game. However, i see maybe 2 or 3 wins for the streaks this year.

Ross' defense kept them in this one.

I find it fascinating this is the second time in ten years Sandusky was able to host on consecutive years. As I stated earlier, given Ross' success at Strobel the last 50ish years, keep playing there, Ha!
