Not really this area, but my neck of the woods I'm looking forward to a Hoban--Massillon show down. Both teams are looking great.

Still not sure what the rankers are thinking with Glenville.

Incredible end of the schedule for Hoban - vs. Walsh Jesuit, vs. Glenville, and vs. St. Edward.

I think it’s come time to admit that there’s some high schools in Ohio that are like a small college for football that are going up against high school teams. TCC, St. Ed’s, Hoban, Glenville and a few others are just on different levels than most high schools in Ohio. Until the OHSAA steps in this will continue. As good as Perkins is this year, they just don’t match up with Glenville. TCC will embarrass anyone in their region. The athletes in this area are not at the same level compared to the bigger city athletes.

sadly that is a hard truth to accept. Every now and then a special comes along but once every 10-20 years isn’t good enough. It doesn’t help these program recruit, whether some believe it or not.

D2 is interesting to me. I’ve been following Massillon, since a few of my old work colleagues are alumni, and they have an excellent team. Hoban is very talented but to say they’re are unbeatable is something Massillon has a say in. I give the edge to Hoban, but Massillon is tough. Massillon snuck out a 15-13 victory over St. Ed’s which goes without saying is impressive.

From what I can muster up, what I’ve watched in spare time, Hoban just has phenomenal overall talent and replacement who are excellent as well. High school in regard to the next man up mentality can have quite a drop, but that’s one thing Hoban doesn’t really have an issue with. I’m not sure Glenville can say the same, but they have some very talented kids as well so I’m giving that something around a 42-28 final potentially, worse case scenario for Glenvillle 48-21

Massillon has a mental block when it comes to Hoban

St. Ed didnt have their startung QB against Massillon

Massillon has 0 State Titles in Tournament Format. They claim 24 AP Titles


Their most prized alum is Lori Lightfoot. That's why i dont pick on them at Yappi anymore
