Bucks just got Damien Lillard so the East will be loaded. I love the addition of Strus to the roster. I think the Cavs will go 54-28.

Will Isaiah Mobley make the roster? 6'8" 240.

The only teams with higher over/under wins are Suns, Bucks, Nuggets and Celtics. The Cavs are higher than the Lakers, Sixers, Warriors, Heat and Knicks. At least Vegas likes them. Hopefully Mobley and Allen have each taken a large step forward.

Hopefully Mobley and Allen have each taken a large step forward. Cavs will be a really good regular season team JB gets his players to play hard every night and other teams don't play hard every night during the regular season. So, I expect the same results this year over 50 wins. Really comes down to the playoffs can they show they can compete when it matters most?

Let's hope Allen and Mobley have been working on their strength and Mobley his 3 point shot. If Mobley takes the next step I think the Cavs can win a round or 2 in the Playoffs. Assuming the Celtics and Bucks have some key injuries.

Huge win to start the year. Strus first game as a Cav was way better than expected. Coaching was suspect tho.

I can’t assess the Cavs as a whole so far really with all the injuries to starters and key reserves they have had. But I can assess Mobley who has played in all the games. He has had one good half of basketball so far . His offensive game still doesn’t look like it has developed. It’s real early so there’s still time to change that but I am a tad concerned about his offensive game .

0-3 at home is not good especially how well they played last year at home and poorly on the road.

Mobley looks like he doesn't want to touch the ball let alone shoot it or dribble in traffic. It looks like the dude didn't pick up a ball this off season. I think the Cavs should test the trade waters. Maybe we can get Markkanen back but he's probably too expensive now.

cbus hitting the stuff. The absolute last player on that team that will be traded will be EM.At least the next few years. If you think they expect him to be a 25 ppg scorer, you don't watch NBA ball. They look for him to be a 15 ppg/10 rpg/4 apg/2 steal and 2 block a game guy. That is a damn good NBA player

I do expect him to develop into a respectable 3 point shooter which would help the floor spacing tremendously. Garland and Mitchel would see immediate benefits. Mobley plays like a center but with a PF body which is not a good combination. On most good teams one of the bigs is an outside threat. The Cavs don't have that but I hope Mobley can be that guy. It's safe to say Allen won't do it. If Mobley won't put in the work then he doesn't deserve a max contract. They have him signed through next year so there is still a little time. I just don't like what I've seen so far and if they could get premium value now then I think they should trade him. The Cavs are ready to win now but not with these 2 bigs (imo).

Call it early I get that when it comes to Wins and Losses but I see no sight of improvement from key guys in DG, Mobley , and Allen and that’s very concerning to me. And the it’s early excuses runs dry after 20 games. Time to get it together and fast.

After a slow start to the year, the Cavs are now 7-6 with a huge win over the defending champs without 2 starters.

I’m really liking this rookie Craig Porter. Had a great game last night and seems like every time he plays he does really well. It even seems like the offense runs better with him at point.

He has played really well the past two games! Plays great defense as well. I believe he deserves the backup PG role even when Ty Jerome gets back.

Dare I say the Cavs have looked better without Mitchell and Levert lately?
Also, the Cavs definitely found a hidden gem in Porter. This guy needs to stay in the rotation and maybe even start getting more minutes. Like the announcers were saying, he just seems to always make the right play.
And Dean Wade needs to shoot like 10,000 shots at practice. He needs to start hitting some of these wide open shots he’s getting.

I didn't want to be the one to say it but yeah the ball movement does look better on offense without Mitchell out there. Just shows me Garland needs to be running the offense at all times even when Mitchell plays. And Craig Porter Jr keeps impressing in 3 games he has 45 points, 18 assists, and only 2 turnovers.

Nope you need Mitchell and Levert.82 games is a long season. Caris had been playing very well prior to this injury but I'm concerned because I've watched a couple times now that when sits 5-6 games he has a hard time getting his groove back. Dean Wade needs a permanent seat on the bench. He'll get a few boards, minimal D and a lousy shot. At least Caris brings decent D and can drive the middle and either go to the bucket or pass put.His 3 ball has been spotty but better than Wade. Some of the radio heads in Cleveland are starting to talk coaching change and ATM thats just stupid. Fire the head trainer and I'd be OK with that...how many teams start the season with as many soft tissue injuries that we have? Thats what pisses me off.

Cavs are 13-12 after tonight’s loss against Boston. I don’t see any improvement at all from this team. In fact you could even argue they got worse. If it keeps trending like this JB may be fired mid-season Idk if that will really fix anything though.

Just now. Darius Garland suffered a fractured jaw and will be out for four weeks. Also, Mobley underwent knee surgery and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

Cavs have been able to manage the injuries to Garland and Mobely going 7-3 in their last 10. They will need to continue to perform while undermaned as the East is tight in spots 4-8. Getting a top 6 seed and avoiding the play-in won't be easy
4. Knicks 22-15 5. Heat 21-15 6. Pacers 21-15
7. Cavs 21-15 8. Magic 21-16

Mobley returned to the lineup last night in the win over the Clippers and Garland is really close to returning according to JB. Cavs seem to be hitting their stride. Standings are as followed 4. Knicks 30-17 5. Cavs 28-16 6. Pacers 27-20 7. Heat 24-23 8. Magic 24-23
