What a dominate win by the Tigers, this game tonight showed why this is the best team in the Region. Again this offense is unstoppable. The next two weeks will be running clocks and will breeze through the playoffs.

We have the first shared MOAC championship since the conference realignment in 2017.
Congrats to Shelby for winning their 4th MOAC title and to Ontario for winning their first!
The new alignment has seen Richland County dominance in the football title department, and now all 3 Richland County schools have had a piece of that action.

From what I'm seeing, Shelby is rolling the MOAC this season.
Both XC titles Girls Tennis Football
Boys golf appeared to do well. Well enough for a league title? Maybe. I can't recall. Volleyball was above average, but I don't think a league title worthy result.
If there's an all-sports trophy, it could be decided in winter. Boys hoops will win barring any catastrophic losses. Girls hoops don't have a typical senior leader, but zero MOAC home-court losses since joining the league tells me it won't be easy to put them anywhere but near the top. Wrestling and swimming is a big IDK, but I don't see any reason how they don't finish respectably in the MOAC.

Truckers/Lady Truckers won at least A share of 7 Titles in 9 sports offered

However, the entire rest of the school year remains and what you state is really just "supposition". So, how did the Whippet Boys soccer team fare this year? I'll wait.

The MOAC has been breezy for Shelby since joining. The only chief, highly contested losses that I am aware of involve the girls' basketball against whoever the SBC Lake has offered during tournament/non-league play. The Lake is a great league in recent years. Norwalk/Bellevue/Willard girls basketball has been a wall of sorts for Shelby over the years, but the girls' program is officially the best in Shelby history as far as the league titles they have won in the number of years played. Boys track has more league titles overall, but they had over a several decades early start on the girls basketball program.
As far as MOAC consideration goes:
Football has 4 of 5 possible crowns.
Boys' hoops is the same way.
Lady Whippets have demolished basketball. No home losses.
Boys XC has 7 straight league titles no matter where you put them. Girls XC has several banners.
Girls tennis has 4 straight.
Golf has seen some great talent on the girls side worth a few titles, and at least a title or two for the boys if I am correct.
Boys track has been seen a few titles. Girls track has at least one I think.
At least I can ignore boys soccer. Can't lose a league title if you don't play the sport. haha

If Shelby's non-existent soccer team is the reason for winning 20+ boys' league titles in other sports over the MOAC tenure, I'll happily take that trade-off. Shelby boys hoops vs. Galion in recent history: MOAC 78-31 74-40 77-40 80-67 76-24 98-40 75-47 81-48 69-60 75-68 Skip 2017-2018, no games played Non-MOAC in 2016-17 77-30 Girls basketball: 94-20 72-20 60-18 72-4 77-24 65-29 59-16 77-27 70-27 67-27 The only girls' soccer score I can find on the MOAC website pages that will load for me is Shelby 4-0 over Galion this year. We started our girls program 4-5 years ago. Sorry it took me an hour to get back to you, must've been a lot of waiting.

If I have it figured correctly, Padua and Lex took last 2 spots, thus eliminating BG
