Really tough matchup for Calvert. Crestview is probably realistically a top 8 seed and they’ve whacked Calvert the last two times they’ve played.

Crestview has played three heavy hitters in Columbus Grove, Bluffton and McComb. Leipsic is no slouch. Their QB is gritty but the problem is that he's also their MLB. He certainly has had the hell beaten out of him this year but he is a real fighter. The rest of the team has decent size and they are tall. From what I saw they do not have blazing speed. It's hard to know how healthy either team is at this point but Crestview has played better people than Calvert, imo.

Calvert really shouldn’t be in this position. They had plenty of opportunity to beat HL and couldn’t punch it in on three different occasions inside the 5.

I think Coach Reiser is 0-7 in Playoff games. 0-3 at Calvert and 0-4 at Gibsonburg. Coach Reiser has had some very good regular season teams.

Coach Reiser has had some very good regular season teams. 23 8-2 18 9-2 17 9-2 16 8-3 15 10-1 14 9-2 I agree that he has had outstanding success during the regular season. If you look back I believe that he was at G-burg in 2015 and ran the table during the regular season but to me the only quality win was against Calvert. They proceeded to get taken to the shed by Van Buren in the first round. They couldn't help that their schedule was so weak and it certainly didn't help them prepare for playoff football. |
