Just looking st stats from Toledo area where its inner city schools of devillbis, macomber and waite were household names many years ago.Than there started to be a surge in adjacent communities of people leaving Toledo proper because of job loss or etc.And to find out lol its same for most all cities in Ohio except Columbus. Area towns like Fremont and bellevue for example, Fremont is SYNONYMOUS of the Toledo syndrome I call it where like Toledo Fremont has been ravaged by job loss, drug overdoses and opiod addiction you name it.Bellevue though although smaller than Fremont lost a number of factories in last 10 years is STILL a tight knit and cohesive community and ate adapting well to decline in numbers and divisions. A proud community. As common core continues public schools the big inner city schools will see 30-40 kids per class room.Leading many middle class or financially secure people ti send kids to Catholic or Christian or rich public school

Are you kidding. In late 90's Toledo public 36,000 students district side.2011 Toledo public had 26,000. Blade article 2011. Washington local stood pat from 2008-2011 as did Oregon and sylvania which had a 6 person increase.Couple drug addiction job loss, heroin addiction, demographics, etc.Fremont and Toledo mirror each other just like Marion just like lima etc.You must not be from Ohio, but Catholic schools are benefitting from common core, vouchers etc.Toledo Catholic schools from 2008- 2011 saw a 500 kid increase district wide.

Fremont is predominantly a poor to middle class district.Divorced parents , kids poor cant afford pay to play. Schools like perrysburg, Springfield, or rich Columbus school districts, Avon, Avon lake, nordonia,Aurora, these public schools are not hurting because financially there in great shape.Parents moving Kids out of inner cities .

Gibsonburg goes full circle!! Early 70's gibsonburg left SBC and joined SLL. In 73? Maybe, but gibsonburg a small rural farming town joined pemberville eastwood or bloomdale / cygnet elmwood or tontagony otsego .Than early 2000's a big number off people moved into pemberville eastwood which butts up against perrysburg boundaries and saw growth. Genoa saw a lot.SLL started to get very big by a few towns and gibsonburg bring smallest couldn't compete forcing TAAC move. THIS Keith is a result off people leaving Toledo for suburb or rural towns. Whitehouse Anthony wayne saw increase in numbers ad did Holland Springfield who us div2 are you kidding?? Gibsonburg has rejoined SBC but in a smaller division with lakota Fremont dy.Joe Margaretta etc.Good move. All these league changes ARE a result of big city public school decline. Now oak harbor who in mid 80's left Sll for SBC because money they got from Davis Bessie madevthem rich and attractive to kudd. Now there talking it might close and you see oak harbor weakening as a football school and port Clinton flourish from it.

As for Fremont.....As a community there going thru a lot, I do not forsee any growth being Clyde is right up against eastern border. Fremont is sustaining itself with 3 factories, Heinz,IAC,woodbridge, several small places but mostly service jobs. Any loss like Heinz will hurt badly.Fremonts holding,I don't forsee any major factories coming, trump has stopped factories leaving for most part but growth I see will take time factory front. I forsee Fremont joining SBC in next 5-10 years.SBC ideally wants 8 schoolsbper division but they want to make sure Fremont don't grow! !that's it really .Like sandusky and fostoria joining NOL in mid 2000's. fostoria was a dying community which made it attractive to bold, no lie .Sandusky joined nol but sandusky is locked as far as district goes which made move attractive to Fremont Fremont No not yet but they will. And I can see s full circle by Fremont who used to play bellevue start like little big 6 again.Keith hope this helps ....

So your mad at parents and people for either moving to nice school districts or sending their children to nice school districts? I don't understand what your mad about!
