Correct. Apparently Grant Milliron outbid the owner of Norwalk Raceway to buy it for $800,000.

A few thoughts on this one. Galion returns the MOAC’s leading passer from a year ago in addition to the second leading receiver in yardage. Their line is probably the most inexperienced part of the team. Despite having so much skill experience, they also will have 4 Freshmen making the trip. The offense made some really good plays against Tiffin but the line play left a lot to be desired. I would expect Tiffin is going to be better than River Valley, but I also would say Tiffin beat Galion in regards to the scrimmage. I could see this one being close and could go either way. Will River Valley offer any kind of steam for this game?

While on the topic of Shelby, I read today that the old Mansfield Mototsports Park is being sold and a portion of the bleachers are being removed and donated to the Shelby City Schools. It was being rumored they were to be used for a new football field at the school complex. Anyone from Dhelby know any more about this?

Right on. I read the interview with OH Report founder. He worked for WMFD and he wanted to dabble in video on the side and they fired him for it. OH Report is going to get bigger and bigger. Jeff Alan is about all WMF d has left imo.

That makes sense that the BVC added Lima Central Catholic to the mix. Crestline backed out of their commitment to the BVC for this year to join the NWCC a year early.

Not this year. I think Wynford will be keeping Pleasant for week 1 once we get back to normal football scheduling which is the point I was trying to make.

Bucyrus’ biggest problem is they’re land locked. Only what’s in the city limits is part of their school system. There are several neighborhoods on the edge of town that are either part of Wynford or Col Crawford school districts. And a large number of kids that do live in Bucyrus open enroll to either of those two districts. Galion loses kids to Crawford and Northmor, but not as many. And their district does extend out at least a little bit.

Bellevue born and raised.....wore that REDMEN uniform. I hate to say it but if admin would ever cave and change I’d be done supporting the programs or school district. I’ve voted yes on every levy and supported programs for years but I couldn’t support a district ran by cowards 🤷🏻♂️ With that said I’d be surprised if a change was made. Bellevue alums at almost every level from coaching, principles, AD and more. Couldn’t see how they could agree to a change. Like you, I proudly wore the Redmen uniform, though it was “Southern Redmen” from Bucyrus. From the comments I see on social media, I would say most of Bucyrus would not like to see the change. But after watching a recent Board meeting via Internet, it looks like like the liberal PC Board is setting the stage for a change once COVID is done. For you sake, I hope your Board is not a bunch of PC liberals who will not throw away a hundred years of history. Regardless of what happens, Bellevue and Bucyrus will always be Redmen in my heart. Good luck From everything the Bucyrus School Board has had on Crawford County Now, I fully expect they will change their nickname.

Galion does not show a game for week 1 in 2021. They are playing Lima Central Catholic in week 9 at home next year, replacing KIPP Columbus and returning to 5 home and 5 away.

Before this was announced, Galion’s week 9 game against KIPP Columbus was already cancelled. I’m assuming Pleasant’s game withem was also not happening. I also assume that the 100 year plus rivalry game with Bucyrus will end. However, that is not necessary a bad thing. Back in my day when I proudly wore the Redmen uniform, the game was very competive. However, that is not the case today, since the programs are on different levels, which is not going to change anytime soon. With Bucyrus’s declining enrollment, and the fact that about a quarter of their students open enroll out, the game will remain very lopsided. I am sad if it does end, but glad that the kids won’t have to start off each year getting their butts kicked in by a far superior program. According to Arbiter Live, Bucyrus has removed Galion from their schedule after this year. It shows Bucyrus hosting New London next year week 1. It is indeed a shame but you are correct. Both programs are in much different places.

With the OHSAA announcing a 6 game season and playoff tournament, how will this affect the 7 team MOAC. It would be necessary for all teams to play at least non conference game and not all conference teams. Thoughts???

Looks like it should be a fun weekend in Minnesota. The nice thing about this truncated schedule is even the games in the beginning of the season mean a ton.

That scenario would be similar to the B1G. Basically a conference only schedule.
