Out coached and out played so far. We always get clydes best yet we play less physical. Kickin out butt up front on BOTH sides. Not playing like the past couple weeks. Oh ye of little faith Good thing there is a second half then. Sounds like it was a good ball game While I’m happy we won there’s still much that can be said but I will refrain. Need to fix some things from tonight’s game to be ready in two weeks and see what’s not working up front. Congrats Redmen on the undefeated Lake Championship

Wow, I knew tiffin didn’t have much on the ground but I didn’t expect those numbers. If the Redmen can remain that balanced they could finish unbeaten on the season and win some playoff games. Have to keep playing like fridays game however and not previous weeks.

According to my records of Bellevue vs. opponents, the all time series with Tiffin Columbian is now tied 44-44-1. This data comes from the old RedmenRumble site, from which I saved the record vs. opponents list (that likely came from Bellevue historian Bill Oddo) before that site went offline and have been updating ever since. RedmenRumble isn’t “totally” offline. Ever hear of the wayback machine? Check this out: web.archive.org/web/20041015011744/http://redmenrumble.com/😏

Great team win tonight. Keegan was throwing darts all over and was by far the best passing game of the season. Still wish we’d get more at TB on the ground though. Couldn’t be happier with the passing game as I’m guessing 5-7 players had atleast one reception with a big game from Davis and Tyler Ray. d-front was stout not giving much room for the tornadoes to run the ball. Be interested to see what he stays from tonight’s game
Go Redmen!!!

Props to Jalen for having his players pumped up for the game last night they came out definitely more energized than the Redmen did which thankfully they woke up mid second quarter or late first half. Not sure about these custom made T-shirts that’s been mentioned and would love for someone to drop me a private message to let me know what it’s all about and if true. but there is no room in my book for two Bellevue guys to have any issues with each other especially one with so many wins as a head coach and another who led the Hall of Fame coach to a state championship game. BOTH these coaches have meant a lot to Bellevue and I’d love to see Jalen one day stroll the Redmen sidelines as HC. I’ve said it before I hope Jalen, while at Perkins wins every game on their regular season schedule but one. ehhh... heard the Pirate players were saying some nasty things in pregame.. even mentioning some people by name with a certain 4 letter word attached. Also heard that Coach Santoro was on the field hugging and shaking hands with the Bellevue players before the clock even hit zero. Seems really odd if that is true. I honestly don’t know if Jalen hugged players at the end of the game as I left with 3mins left. Would it surprise me, not really as he coached those kids at the JV level. Just staying classy

Yep unfortunately I’ll have to agree with Jake. Tiffin and Clyde I imagine are the top two teams with Bellevue coming in a distant third. I hope I’m wrong but The offensive line for Bellevue still does not seem to finish their blocks well and too much standing around before the whistle blows. Any kind of consistent passing game is not there and outside of Keegan Ray there is not much of a running game. I sound like a broken record every year when I say I’d like to see some motion at receiver and a second back in the backfield with Ray and Mays more often. there’s all kinds of things you can do offensively, using Miller as an extra blocker, running him off tackle with more speed than Mays or throwing to him out of the backfield. I’ve seen plenty of Redmen teams peek at the right time and that’s what I’m really hoping to see definitely need some more enthusiasm coming out to start the game then they had last night. Props to Keegan for busting his rear with 44 carries and over 300 yards last night. Not only did he have the heart of a lion he also was a good leader on the sidelines. Go Redmen!! sounds like they were blocking someone if they had someone run for over 300. He didn't do it by himself. Good news is... this week, you will get the chance to see Bellevue and Tiffin, should be the game of the week in Lake Yes I’m critical. Have buddies from clyde and Fremont that day I’m always downplaying how we start but it’s just my observation. Someone that saw the game correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Redmens first 1st down come mid 2nd quarter?

Tiffin will win the lake. bellevue 2nd clyde 3rd norwalk 4th perkins 5th sandusky 6th Right now, probably flip Bellevue and Clyde, then rest looks about right. Although Norwalk and Perkins could flip as well. We'll see next weekend. Yep unfortunately I’ll have to agree with Jake. The OHSAA is pulling off a hoax. I went to a cross country meet today at Bucyrus. It was held at the Crawford County fairgrounds. I think there were fifteen schools there. Boys and girls teams, High School and Junior High teams. The races started and finished on the home stretch of their half mile harness race track. There is a nice grandstand to sit in and watch the meet. The grandstand was more than half full and hundreds of people were standing shoulder to along the track, way less than half were wearing masks. Why is it that football fans are more likely to spread this virus than CC fans?? Yep total BS. My daughter is in band and only gets to play home games as is during her senior year then they’re only giving 3 tickets. Her mom and I are divorced and remarried so how do u distribute tickets??!! Total crap!! I’m about to jump the fence

Loved the atmosphere at St Mary’s Memorial. Had to walk through the school which was decked out to get to the stadium. I believe it was the north end that field goals bounce off the school as it was so close. Maybe 200 fans had lawn chairs and sat up on a hill/railroad track watching the game for free. While I’ve been to numerous stadiums over a the years I’d say it was my favorite. Beat them in a tough fought game in 2001 They actually have a new stadium now with a track around it. The old field, which was similar to Willard's, is no longer I was not aware of that. The experience of a hole in the wall type stadium that was nice and walking through the school made it elite for me

Been to maybe 15, and tiffin is my favorite. Tiffin is a nice stadium but you’d expect as much when u have college games being played there as well. They’ve had the luxury of college funding to make that what it is and for me making it less impressive.

I'm lost for words. At any rate, congratulations to Bellevue! No 3-game losing streak in this Series since 48-50. To be honest man the Redmen have to get better play up front on both sides of the ball. Some good size at DE but ALL bull rush and no pass rushing moves to get off a block to create pressure. Nasonti said we have the depth to go 8 deep (i think he was referring to OL) but run blocking still has much to improve. Sustain blocks and don’t give up on a play so quickly once runner hits or passes LOS. Didn’t appear good for Nottke who was helped off after his season ended early going into a he Clyde game last year due to injury. Tiffin and Clyde seem to be the leaders at this point but a lot can change. Was just thinking tonight how in 2001 we started 2-2 and had some Injuries one which saw Chad Cramer take over the TB roll and was outstanding.

I was wondering the last time Norwalk has defeated Bellevue 3x successively. I figured late 70s the latest, but I guess not. Just on history alone, and anemic offense, Truckers underdogs in this one. Redmen need to put together a better showing than what they did last week on offense. We’ve always had a solid running game but I didn’t see it last week. Holes just was not there and couldn’t connect on the long ball in the passing game. I’m sure the Truckers will be excited about playing at home on that new turf.

Bellevue is currently scrimaging Elyria Catholic, and there's a live stream from an endzone view on the BHSRedmen twitter page Hope regular season games are streamed from the press box not sideline or endzone. I know they are working on options to stream

Yes something really needs to be adjusted here whether it’s moved to 20% capacity or 25% capacity. Something that has not been brought up yet is to think about the kids who come from divorced homes and they could really use the 4 tickets for parents and step parents. Could cause some major issues with families if deciding who get a ticket and who doesn’t. A lot of issues here still sadly.

Yeah just found out today about no bands traveling. Disappointing for my daughter who’s a senior band member this year. And with zoom and Facebook live and so many options you don’t have to have play by play for fans to want to watch. Heck if no one else would do it I’d use my cell phone to provide video if I knew well enough in advance to test things out. I know a lot of people would even donate towards it just to have some kind of normalcy if there is such a thing in 2020

Last I heard players, band members and cheerleaders get 4 tickets for family members (which thankfully I fall into this group) and that was to be it for game attendance in SBC BUT that was before Dewine and guidelines announced. Hopefully the do livestream at all schools for those who can’t attend.

Offensive my bum bum!! We’ve raise a bunch of thin skinned pussies is what we’ve done and the media has brain washed use for far too long It's just a name, bruh. Don't let it boil you like that. They haven't always been the Redmen. Colors and feather aren't going anywhere. What were they before the Redmen then? This season will be 123yrs of Bellevue Redmen Football so yes tradition and history of this town.

Bellevue born and raised.....wore that REDMEN uniform. I hate to say it but if admin would ever cave and change I’d be done supporting the programs or school district. I’ve voted yes on every levy and supported programs for years but I couldn’t support a district ran by cowards 🤷🏻♂️
With that said I’d be surprised if a change was made. Bellevue alums at almost every level from coaching, principles, AD and more. Couldn’t see how they could agree to a change.
