As mentioned the other thread, why wouldn’t Bellevue want to fill their schedules with Lake and Bay teams (plus Shelby)? This can happen with the move to the Bay. It wasn’t going to happen by staying in the Lake. And they are the smallest school. It may change in a few years. Who knows. Some of the Bay schools are getting karma, IMO for not doing crossovers from the beginning. Great point man. Coach Nasonti called out Bay schools while giving Port Clinton credit for scheduling the Redmen. While talking to Brian Schubert a year ago he told me it was understood that Bay teams would cross over to play us when we voted to join the SBC. Obviously that didn’t happen

Seems like ur the one afraid man with ur demands that Bellevue have soccer! If soccer takes from football programs then it’s been the foolishness of the schools that’s seen the football programs dwindle because of adding the sport for the mommies who are afraid their boys will get hurt on the gridiron. i call bullshit too. Does Bellevue dictate what this league will do? From talking to the Perkins brass, Bellevue principal begged for the move. Nobody in the bay wants Bellevue. Nasonti wants to be Alabama and hang 60 on those teams. they're cowards! play with us big boys Your hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣🙄

How do kids want to play soccer when it’s never introduced in Bellevue? I know of one girl that wanted to play and she played in an area league. 🤷🏻♂️ we had nothing for softball before it became a school sport..took a while to get up to speed.. we didnt even have a pool for swimming at become a sport with nothing to talk about.. still don't have a pool for swimming. what they afraid of? put some lines on the football field..lets roll the ball out and get some kicks in.. First of all I heard rumors that they were going to start up soccer but hope they are not true and secondly I call bullshit!! we can’t help it in Bellevue that the community thinks more of the football program than those in Huron and other communities. Bellevue really doesn’t owe any of those programs or schools anything. They owe the kids who want to play soccer And how about schools that pay to play? U have kids that can’t afford to pay to play so how is that any different!

THE reality is.....No 250+ linemen p!aying soccer. no hard nosed LB types playing soccer. If a good QB, WR or RB, do you want to play soccer after school on Wednesday in front of 100 fans or play football on Friday nights under the lights in front of 1000s? Kids playing soccer can't or don't want to play football. What football loses with a soccer team are the 25 kids standing on the sideline cheering on the team that never get in the game for significant minutes then they should have no reason not to do it.... i think they owe it to the league, First of all I heard rumors that they were going to start up soccer but hope they are not true and secondly I call bullshit!! we can’t help it in Bellevue that the community thinks more of the football program than those in Huron and other communities. Bellevue runs a lot of 3 down and still find a way to shut down RBs. Week 10 will be HUGE as Clyde seems to always be ready for us Better take care of Sandusky first. Not an easy out. Classic trap game. Oh I agree completely man I even asked about the streak in their thread vs Clyde. Personally I think we might need to throw the ball alittle more these next two weeks and especially if we want to make a deep playoff run but I’ve liked what the team has done.

Did last week suck the life out of TC? not completely. They just don’t have the size up front. When you coach preaches speed and running all off season, you tend to lose the big guys you need in those situations. Just my thoughts. And the defense refuses to line up with 4 down lineman, that doesn’t help either. Or when you platoon qb’s when one obviously gives you a better chance, you’ll only get so much out of your offense. Bellevue runs a lot of 3 down and still find a way to shut down RBs. Week 10 will be HUGE as Clyde seems to always be ready for us

Where are all the pirate fans at that was bitching and moaning when Santoro was selected HC? Congrats to Jalen on the 5-1 but hoping it’s 5-2 after next week.

Hopefully Horn is healthy and able to play QB this week and Hager at RB. The offensive run game clicked when they were in together. Corners need to get off the block unlike vs PC. If I had my guess 90% of their production came on quick passes on the outside and just had some excellent blocking. GO REDMEN!!

Cougars are MUCH better than Kenton and while they have the speed of a tiffin team they likely the toughness of Clyde upfront. Redmen need to play tight in the secondary and have the passing game going. Go Redmen!!

Should be a good game. I've seen Van Wert firsthand eight times this year - Fast is the best way to describe the Cougars. I also know firsthand how tough it is to beat Bellevue at home. I'll be in town to broadcast the game, looking forward to seeing my Bellevue friends again. Would u say the Cougars go down field more in the passing game or a lot of bubble screens and underneath throws. Wondering how they compare to Tiffin as they have speed as well. Would have loved to see Kenton play van wert this year to get somewhat of a comparison. Pretty sure they both run the same offense with empty set backfield but unaware of what the D-front of the cougars is like

Earned revenge over the Coon Dogs, now time to ignore Cougar advances, and take VW to the shed for 2000. That 2000 van wert team was very good. Only rushed 3 entire game with former OSU DE Joel Penton controlling our running game. Pete Lepley still had around 267yds receiving. Great win tonight for the Redmen. Most dominate the OL has played all year. Keep getting better boys!!

Unless adding to the playbook at this point in the season in the running game I’d really be working on timing in the passing game and high percentage throws. Keegan and the Wrs showed best vs tiffin and Sandusky. If they can complete 10 or more passes a game the offense is so much better and more likely to advance past this week.

Unbelievable that a rivalry going back near 125yrs and you’d have a team back out. Why?? My guess is they know they be destroyed. I can’t believe Sandusky fans would be to happy with their coach and AD saying thanks but no thanks

Anyone hear anything of players/cheerleaders and band members only getting 2 tickets for the home team instead of the 4 that’s been allowed thus far?

Obviously your a coach/player or parent so I’m sorry to ruffle your feathers but I’m as big a Bellevue fan as anyone I just call it how I see it. A coach might be happy with a win but you still see things that need fixed or needs work. Just thought after the two previous weeks we’d show better. That game is like meechigan vs tOSU, u don’t want to lose that game None of the above bud. I just read these sbc threads and you always seem negative about your team no matter what they do. That's all. You must have missed my posts the past two weeks. Maybe I still expect too much but it’s hard not to with a nasonti coached team. Just hated how things were looking vs the rival who lost to tiffin and every solid team last year during the regular season but The Redmen

While I’m happy we won there’s still much that can be said but I will refrain. Need to fix some things from tonight’s game to be ready in two weeks and see what’s not working up front. Congrats Redmen on the undefeated Lake Championship Sounds like you have a wealth of knowledge that needs to be used as a coach. for being a Bellevue guy you never seem to have anything good to say about them.
