Bishop Watterson and Lexington are not the same size. BW has 214 more students. 🤷🏻♂️ Same Division. The enrollment numbers the OHSAA is using for this football season is Watterson 264, Lex 290....boys. 99.99% of girls don't play football. You said the “schools” were the same size, not boys enrollment numbers. Perhaps you’ll clarify next time. 👍🏻

I'm willing to bet $1000 Ohio State will not be a #2 seed, unless they win the Big Ten Tournament. There are more teams with big men that aren't 1 or 2 seeds. I would have preferred at least one win in the last 5 and a coach that can get a big man like the top 4 Big Ten teams are able to recruit. If OSU loses today, which I hope they don’t, they’ll still be solid on the 2 line. Hit me up so we can confirm details surrounding my collection of that 1G. 😉

And how many of those “20 teams” have played the rigor of a Big Ten schedule? If OSU played in a weak SEC, as an example, I’m guessing they have more than 18 wins already. "Rigor" doesn't count for much when you're the 5th best team in the Big Ten with a 12-9 record. It clearly does. And three of those teams are currently ranked in the top five. Sounds like you would have preferred an overinflated record in a weaker conference. Not sure how that helps you in the tourney, but to each their own.

"Solidly on the 2 line"?? Not if Ohio State loses 5 in a row, finishing 5th in the Big Ten with a 12-9 record and 18-9 overall. There would be more than 20 teams in the AP poll with better records. And how many of those “20 teams” have played the rigor of a Big Ten schedule? If OSU played in a weak SEC, as an example, I’m guessing they have more than 18 wins already.

I get all the frustration and concern regarding this awful stretch, but here’s guessing zero people in this forum had OSU solidly on the 2 line heading into the NCAA Tourney before the season began. Could they be done on opening weekend? Sure. But I’ll just be thankful to see them play someone outside this meat-grinder of a conference.

Breaking per 247Sports, multiple OSU players have tested positive and the game vs. Illinois this weekend is in jeopardy.

Knowing someone who will be in attendance this Saturday, no communication has been provided regarding any game impacts as yet. Not sure what nebulous context you’re intimating. oh yes please do tell. I hope this game gets played. Should be very entertaining After some digging, looks as if Clyde High School had a large COVID outbreak as announced per their Twitter account yesterday. A number of impacted folks are now in quarantine, and they’ve moved to the blended learning model until post Thanksgiving. Based upon this, there clearly could have been impact during the game on Saturday night. I’m guessing Shelby is now trying to address these concerns.

I like it old school. Give me that 109 W. Smiley Avenue (for the HS) or 40 S. Gamble Street (for the field). It will make sense soon. big highlights tonight... two pick 6's a 40 yard field goal, and an incredible 72 yard punt that wasn't even wind aided..all leading to a 25-6 win... so it leads me to ask...if van wert, bellevue, huron, shelby, and keystone all finish 6-0 how in the world do you seed it ?? Didn't Van Wert lose this evening? Yes. OG beat them 35-34. I believe Van Wert may have failed on a 2-pt conversion, and subsequently failed to recover the onside kick.
